Being arrested is hands down one of the worst experiences somebody can go through. Now if you do that to someone while they're tripping, of course they're going to get violent. They're going to perceive you as a threat and go into survival mode while their fight or flight response takes over.

I was arrested while on LSD, integorrated, trippin balls and I played it the way nobody noticed anything, extra hard pard was telling them my birth number while the floor was melting down below my feet
@HybOj8 жыл бұрын
***** it was nightmare... I was arrested because my tripping friend turned 180 degrees before a cop, than we were the main suspects all off sudden because of nothing. In the integorating room, there were white tiles connected with a black cement, and all I saw was black lines in a white space (u can imagine if u were trippin) and those dark lines were morphing everywhere it was brutal. I avoided eye contact, and tryed to tell everything right and I tell you, telling them the birth number was hardcore... when I left the cop station, I was completely sober all of sudden :)
@HybOj8 жыл бұрын
***** yea it was a mind torture for sure, hard to handle and not a good situation, it was about self control, you had to ride it like a bad trip but we made it. We did nothing wrong, we were walking straight, than 2 cops appeared infront of us, and my mate panicked and turned 180 degrees. That was suspicious enough for the cops to arrest us, put us to that room and interrogated us for hours. Than they decided they have nothing on us and let us go. It happened while we were peaking on that acid. And the stress and everything stopped our acid the moment we left the cop station, the moment we closed the doors behind us and we were free we became sober all of sudden O.o

I think a big part of what's wrong with the justice system in North America (not just the US) is that they punish people for using drugs, instead of trying to treat a drug problem like the medical issue it is. No disease was ever treated by aggressively arresting someone and then locking them away with a bunch of violent criminals. I'm not saying LSD is a drug which causes problems like addiction, I'm more speaking generally here. Of course this isn't going to apply to every case involving drugs, In fact, they treat people with mental illnesses the same way. They prosecute them as though they committed their crimes in a fully normal state of mind and completely intended to do whatever it is they did, and just as with drug users, all they care about is punishing them, instead of actually trying to help them. Maybe recidivism would be far lower if instead of treating the mentally ill like criminals and forcing them into an institutiotn made for criminals, they would actually try to treat the problem.

I've done LSD 5 times now and.... - My depression is basically non existent now. - My anxiety has been greatly reduced & i can now smoke weed without feeling paranoid. - I am more grateful about the positive things I have in my life. - I no longer fear death (I find it more interesting than scary) - My third eye opened for a bit when I took 2 tabs which was an incredible experience! - I've discovered a new love for psychedelic style art which I plan to create more of in the future. - It inspires me to see the bigger picture & flow the way I want to in life. - I used to be an alcoholic but now I drink far less as a result (weed also helped with this). Oh wait guys nevermind LSD is a horrible schedule 1 drug that has absolutely no medical benefits and should remain illegal whilst we chug back alcohol and numb up on pharmaceuticals 😉 nice!!

Anyone who may wonder, I'm a paranoid schizophrenic and I take LSD occasionally. I didn't start until after I was diagnosed, but I tried it even though I was warned it would do me in. All LSD has ever done for me is open my eyes. A brighter perspective on my life, creativity, and learning that there is something out there greater than us. Much bigger... Guarantee it.
@Hjaelteomslag7 жыл бұрын
I respect if you dont want to share but I have a question I've been pondering for a while. Do you think schizophrenia could be an inability or defect regarding the visual aquity? I have worked with schizophrenics and many of the hallucinations seem to be the patients filling in gaps they cant interpret comfortably. I relate easily to psychiatric ailments and I can see why some hallucinations appear. The strange and puzzling thing is when the hallucinations are life like and interactive. I guess I refuted my own question with that. I would love to hear your opinion and perspective anyway. Regards

I knew someone who is schizophrenic, she claimed she could never enjoy an acid because it doesn't work for her. She said it's the condition and not the medications. She is also not a "psychedelic person" and really mean in her deceptions and manipulations, not a good person, liar and easily loses her head over other people for so little. I am considered an enemy for her and I was her friend for so long. She just lost her mind in many ways. I sometimes though she is a sociopath or something which really does inhibit any Lysergic effects from LSD as I have seen in many articles and pages of the internet claiming some people are insensitive to LSD effects and will unfortunately never experience full bliss of superior awareness and become one with all consciousness an experience of nirvana and ego death. Specially psychopaths claim to experience only the primary effects but never feel that empathetic encompassing full unconditional love for all things acid makes many feel. It's really awesome to know from you what you experience when while on acid! Peace!

Sadly, it takes a emotionally in-tune and intelligent person to reap the benefits of the drug. You have to understand yourself before trying to comprehend such a powerful substance. Sadly that trait isn't exactly something found in everyone. If you are at a pretty low level of awareness, LSD can't be recommended. The truth is that most people don't really choose whether they're smart or not. The error in Timothy Leary's books (I've only read his most famous), is that he recommends the drug as something everybody should try. How well you trip and how productive it is to trip honestly boils down to how intelligent you are sober.
@spencer15317 жыл бұрын
Thought I'd say if you're inately an open-minded and well-adjusted person, absolutely give it a try, or thirty tries for that matter. Apply the knowledge it gives and do something self-productive. There should be no stigma attached to it. It's a physically harmless drug, and the minor harm it may do doesn't outweigh the importance of the experience during your straight-shot through life.
@AmberAmber6 жыл бұрын
Spencer Agreed - though I'd say it's perhaps less intelligence-based, & more if one's rather nervous. For instance: I have PTSD & scare easily. I'm also rather intelligent (albeit eccentric), nerdy, & a chronic autodidact. I've used 'drugs' · therepeutically & recreationally (after research) · with *MUCH* success. I also feel a 12hr. LSD commitment is too heavy - *for me* . However, I 100% support DEcriminalization of ALL drugs (it makes no sense to criminalise drugs but not cigs/booze. Decriminalizing all feels more logical; hopefully reducing cartels, violence, & the imprisoning of addicts). More funding could be made available for *realistic* drug education, for furthering research into *successfully* treating (the small percentage of people predisposed to) addiction, & for changing the social toxins exacerbating addiction. As with marijuana, Psychedelics have *SO* many amazing uses & need more exploration. XOXO 💖☮️✌🏼

Psychedelics can make people recognize how they're being enslaved. That pretty much sums up why they were demonized. It's pretty hard to get people to work their lives away for the illusion of wealth when they understand that's what they are doing. Not to mention how hard it would be for people to accept the prospect of having, and even electing, masters for themselves if you had psychedelics constantly opening people's eyes to it all.

I’m 27 and took my first trip last month. two years ago I got out of a long term 7 year relationship in which I was being emotionally and mentally abused. Taking my trip made me see the world with a different set of lenses, all I could do was tell my friends and gf I loved them and apologized anytime I thought I was being annoying. My trip made me see how loved I am now, how insignificant we all are unless we make ourselves special to those we love. I also thought about how far I have come as an individual. It showed me I wasn’t really happy with my current job and it was making me depressed. I’m now working harder on my happiness and mental health. Thanks LSD.

"I blame the creators and influencers of those who encouraged my daughter to take LSD" When will people understand that the only person at fault of one's decisions is themselves? Too much of anything creates a risk factor, this should not eliminate the possibility of micro dosing and using substances to their advantage rather than criticize them for their faults.

I was beyond my mid 40's when I decided to use mushrooms again. I was away for the weekend with friends to see a few Phil Lesh shows. It had been well over 20 years since I had first imbibed. I figured one last trip. I aquired some magic mushrooms. WOW! Tripping as an adult was an amazing and profound experience. This would not be my "last trip". I've turned in. I've become a better husband, father, and friend. I'm healthier and take no prescription medications. My perspective broadened on just about everything. Worry faded and a youthful exuberance emerged. I became closer to and began to know myself. I became more valuable to my family and to society... I will trip again. Be careful, this is not for everyone.

M1 Garand Guy if you ever get the chance just take it.. Especially acid. Your not afraid of the drugs your afraid of yourself and if entered with the intention to cure mental illness. The drugs will teach you not to be afraid afraid anymore and that you are the creator not by what you observe but how you observe. There’s an unexplainable rise in consciousness I’d enter illusions trying to explain. But you will truly begin to understand “I am that I am”

When Steve Jobs was going to Reed College in 1970’s he took acid a lot with his friend David Kottke who had access to LSD, and Jobs was an enthusiast. They would read, go on hikes and wander the rose gardens at Reed College. Jobs has been quoted as saying that LSD was one of the most profound experiences of his life, and the name for Apple came from his experience working on the apple farm of another fellow tripper from Reed College.

I am 58 but in my 20s I did my share of acid trips. Perhaps I was ready for it spiritually but I had life transforming experiences that allowed a glimpse beyond the Vail of illusion of Maya and revealed how our world is tragically a matrix of fear but ontologically we are missing the great adventure of existance. LSD was for me full of light and love. Namaste.

I'm 20 years old and about six months ago I started tripping. Before it felt like every day was just one day too many, but now I feel like I can't get enough of life. It helped me stop smoking cigs, took away the depression I'd been having for almost 7 years, along with the anxiety. I'd been interested in acid for a long time, but I never really understood that it could save my life. The lady said she started to have a better relationship with her family, and I totally relate to that. I get along better with my family quite a bit more now.

Sherri Marcys story is amazing. Her story truley grabs hold of the positive and beneficial uses of psychedelics in our society, and psilocybin more specifically.. I do believe users should be a certain age and mental stage in their lives before using (as well as a proper setting for the use of the drug).. but I can say for a fact psychedelics have made me a more accepting, open minded, happier individual, as well as giving me a MUCH deeper perspective and understanding of myself and other individuals. Sherri has it right, TUNE IN FOLKS... BE SAFE, BE KIND, LOVE ONE ANOTHER
