In the 90's, when I was in my twenties, I had a friend who said he could get us acid. I always declined. I had taken to weed the way a fish takes to water, I'd only ever had good experiences with it, and it was enough for me. Acid is the one drug I've always been curious about but too afraid to try, because I'd heard that it amplifies certain personality traits and moods that you already have. I already have anxiety; it would be just my luck to have a 'bad' trip with terrible panic for several hours. I'd be unable to control the type of trip I'd have. My mom had a bad trip the one time she tried it, but was reluctant to go to the E.R. because of fear of getting arrested (this was in 1968).

When this was filmed, I was 17 or so. I can remember a couple of guys in high school selling LSD. 6 blue capsules for $40.00. Never tried it but knew some who did. Went on a ride along with Glendale PD and responded to a call where a classmate was under the influence of it and injured himself and was hospitalized. This was just about at the time where it became illegal in California. Hard to believe this was about 53 years ago.
