I must admit that Bergoglio has contributed to a personal attack on my faith. I have been overwhelmed by a realisation that Jesus of Nazareth died in Jerusalem by Roman crucifixion and that stories of his 'appearance after that are works of fiction. The problem with Pope Francis saying all religion lead to God is that islam, for example, is false, it is deceitful version of the reality of Jesus. It is interesting to note, Jesus gave us an easy way of how to recognise Satan. Satan is a deceiver and the Father of Lies. Quran 3:54 tells us Allah is: 'the best deceiver', which can only mean Allah is the Father of Lies. Allah is Satan. The prophet of islam was deceived by the 'Best Deceiver', and is a prophet of Satan, the Devil, the Master of Hell. Islam allows for muslims to use deceit as a method of protecting and promoting the fortunes of islam. With this in mind, how can meaningful ecumenical dialogue be conducted with Islamic clerics? I find it very difficult to understand what Pope Francis is trying achieve. I have yet to hear him speak of the necessity of the salvation of souls. Believing in a false Jesus is not belief in the true Jesus who is the Way the Truth and the Life. Muslim should turn to Jesus as their saviour. Christians should pray and make sacrifice for the conversion of muslims to become true followers of Jesus. Only Jesus can change hearts and minds. For the Church and the salvation of souls...🙏🙏🙏

John Henry, you have got the clarity but others need a way in to that. Open the doors to all mankind and let the Holy Ghost do his work. Doubling down on orthodox Catholic teachings is good but exclusive. If you are not in the club it makes no sense to push club rules. If we don’t want converts then keep the doors closed. What Bishop Strickland, the Deacon and Mr Westin state rings absolutely true...the only thing I had a problem with is that Jesus taught the importance of loving our neighbor as ourselves- is this not a Brotherhood? Certainly there is no salvation but through Christ and His intercession, but our love for our brothers and sisters should be our motivation to be witnesses for Him and His salvation. I don't think that point was stressed- to me without that emphasis, their argument is weakened.

Aristotle through the logic of causation proved the existence of God but a very remote and impersonal personal one, and any proofs through science, math, or philosophy are all very rational and detached affairs perhaps pointing in an "upward" direction to an almighty Creator and/or mystical pursuits with external detachments. Did the works of Plato lead to a religion of Platonism? No, they only served to connect some of the things down here to what is up there with ideas such as the Logos, used later also to refer to Christ. What about Arianism - the heresy that declared that Christ is not truly divine but a created being? Is the Vatican now saying that Arianism also "leads" to God and will save our souls? If Islam is a survivor of that heresy, then it is clear that the divine person and authority of Jesus Christ did not pass the test of time in that religion, and it does not reflect Christ, and we ask how it can really give us a true image of God to worship and open our hearts to. But not to beg the question, with various religions before Christ and those since which are outside of Christianity, we have the history of the Jews in their struggles with paganism and false gods before Christ came into the world. it can be said that the Jews of the Old Testament did have a view of God who was omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent as in Psalm 95 (above all other gods), or as in the theophany of the inspired writer of first Isaiah (6:1-8). They certainly were being led to God and their religion pointed in the right direction, but without Christ they were not actually upward bound toward God, and in fact without Jesus of Nazareth as their Messiah, they appear to be more concerned with an earthly and exclusive Jerusalem than a heavenly and universal one. However, the God-inspired monotheistic Jews of the Torah and the Prophets DID have a divine expectation of a saving Messiah. They knew his coming was necessary in order to break through our barriers and isolation from God, and to save them from their debts to Him for their sins. What then is so very unique about that Messiah when he came and the religion he founded? The only thing is the Messiah himself who not only was and is the true image of God for us - by what he said, what he did, and what he instructed us to do, but also, that he is the only true connection to God for us, we cause he is the very substance of God born into the world in a way to enter into us and redeem us. Another example: Do the Jews who did not convert to Christ Jesus refer to God as their Father? Does any other faith or religion? No, not one. The reason is that they have no such connection to do so, and psychologically they do not even feel comfortable in addressing God that way, because they know He is really still quite remote from them. Not to say that God is not truly transcendent and above us in every way, but if we are in Christ and He is in us, the barriers are brought down. We in fact can only be at one with God "through" Jesus Christ - through our belief into Him, our desire for Him, our openness to Him, and our consuming of Him. With our whole beings, we share in his divine sonship and are redeemed, or "saved", as adopted children of God who was so remote from us. Also, the Person of Christ is the only real connection for the Holy Spirit to come into our lives and for us to enter eternal life in the realm of the Trinity.

Right after becoming the Pope, he dismissed the Official Theologian of the Vatican for Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. Then the contradictory statements start: Many believe that he authorized that divorced and remarried Catholics could receive Holy Communion under the discernment of the parish priest; many believe that he has approved the blessing of same s3*x couples; he said that all religions take us to God. Aside from this, he gives his blessing to Fr. James Martin for the work his doing with the LGBTQI+ community, when we all know that Fr. Martin is a promoter of hmsxl marriage. Then he opens the Synod on Synodality, where the new line of the Church is the idea of setting the new directives for the Church based upon the consultation of the laity. Then we see all the appointments that he has made of Cardinals and Bishops who are extremely Liberal (to put it nicely). Then we have Cardinals, Bishops and priests who are conservatives being cancelled. Then we have all the Cardinals and Bishops from Germany who are totally opposing Catholic Teaching, not being cancelled. Then we have the Pope promoting the idea that Global Warming is an existential threat and commending the WEF for the work that they were going to carry out during their last meeting at D/4v*0s. Draw your own conclusions.
