The nicest bass clarinet sound I have heard on youtube

This is exactly the tone concept I want to strive for. Your altissimo is so Bb clarinet, not that strained, creaky, deathly sound we sometimes hear.

Bravo, Lorenzo... Ti ringrazio di aver scaricato questo you-tube, è stato proprio molto carino da te... Tanti auguri ed un saco di gioia per te da Israele... Shalom !

It's a similar idea in regards to embouchure but there are quite a few differences such as changes in resistance based on register and location in the register as well.

There is an option under youtube captions now to translate. It doesnt do a great job, but you should be able to make out the important parts.

I'm sorry but i cannot agree with that comment venskus. Personally, I feel like every person is different, therefore different set-ups are needed, especially on the bass clarinet. I do think that Selmer low C's have a beautiful tone, especially in the upper register, but they don't have the power in the lower extension of the horn because of the missing hole in the bell that Buffet bass clarinets have. All in all, I just think it depends on the player. I couldn't get the sound I wanted on one.

Lol please tell me this is a joke. Two out of the three founders of KZbin and one of the two CEOs are not American or English. If what you're saying is true, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tell me why there's an option to view KZbin in dozens of languages.
