Brian Kelly has a convincing manner with the answers he gives. I don’t get the impression that he’s giving us blue skies. I also have the impression that he’s pleased with the team. He knows their not perfect but they have potential and are giving him good effort. Geaux Tigers!

If only it was a night game. But I get it. They won't give us one cause it's a rebuild time. If you EVER can get there for a night SEC game it'll be something you've never experienced. And yes, I've been to MANY other SEC stadiums for big games.

I doubt you need to worry if we have another first half like basically all our games so far this season - it'll be over by half time - no comeback if 3 scores behind against a good team like TENNESSEE. JD seems to be throwing wobbly spirals and waiting too long to release. Receivers are extra anxious and not seeing the release until already looking back at QB.

t.v. has ruined lsu tradition of night games. had coast to coast radio broadcasting on cbs at 8:00 pm. it started because during sugar cane grinding farmers had to work during daylight hours up and down the river and bayous. i saw my first night game in 1948. it was magnificent! being also a fan of college football, drove to n. orleans for tulane and tennessee game. (vols last season with single wing), then drove to baton rouge for lsu vs. georgia tech.

After five games, my opinion of Brian coaching. Within five minutes of any interview, you can tell he’s a sharpest coach like Nick. The team, both on offense and defense, are playing very passionately throughout the entire game. And we appear to have more talent than what most of us expected this rookie year for Brian coaching. This 11 AM game coming up will be another good test to see how pumped up he can get these young men to be ready. I expect a disciplined team prepared to play a morning game at Tiger Stadium. Biggest thing we need now is consistency which will grow over time. I would’ve been happy with a 6-6 season but I see potential for an 8-4 or even better if they continue to grow.

Fax I have a friend who’s a ND fan and he was talking a bunch of crap about him. As a LSU fan I never watch ND 💀 they always play cupcakes. I didn’t have a bad thought but after seeing how he kinda talked bad about certain people after the FSU loss and looked distraught I thought it was gonna be bad. But I realize now he’s kinda like Phil jackson. Coaches publicly and wants to ignite a fire in his players with his words. Smart guy I like him

Congratulations on the win. 85 yards passing will not win against the top teams in the SEC. As Coach Kelly says everyone in the stadium knows LSU is going to run and the O line is improving but you have got to at least spread the offense out a little more. Auburn and others are stacking the box against LSU knowing a run is coming. Not to be too critical but that is not smart football, just ask Lenny Fournette. Bama stacked the box on him and he gained 110 yards on 40 carry’s in 2 games averaging 2.8 yards per carry. Lenny normally averaged 6.7 yards per carry against all other teams.

@rayparker4231
@rayparker4231 Жыл бұрын
@@MyVisualRomance I agree mostly because I don’t think our offense can keep up with theirs. Our defense has been really good and improving every week but our offense always look uncreative and bland and seems like they just try to get by. That won’t cut it in the SEC no matter how much talent you have. We need to get Kayshon involved more, Bech and Jenkins have proven in limited PT they deserve much more. We should be going 4 wide outs a lot more often. Having our best weapons like Kayshon, Jenkins, Bech, and Nabers would help us with stretching the field. Denbrock has to find a way to get our best athletes/ players the ball and let them work. We’re gonna need to do that if we want to surprise TN. They’re great at stopping the run and their DBs are their weak area.

So a bad game in passing, in a game that’s almost always competitive and Leonard Fournette from 5 years ago is analysis of what exactly?
@VonBluesman
@VonBluesman Жыл бұрын
@@balahkaye Blake it is an analysis of what Coach Kelly said, everyone in the stadium knew LSU was going to run the ball. If you watch closely, Auburn started playing 8 in the box stacking up players anticipating the run, thus being more able to stop it and keep the backs from getting as many yards verses spreading the offense out at times and surprise them with the run. Lenny Fournette is one of the best backs that played for LSU. He is still starting with Tampa Bay and helped them win the Super Bowl 2 years ago. He had more than double his yardage against other college teams compared to playing against Bama because Myles ran him up against the best defense in the nation Bama. They stacked the box and just concentrated on tackling him for almost the entire game. One of the 2 games he played against Bama he had 19 carry’s for 31 rushing yards. One tackle resulted in a 5 yard loss, 14 carry’s netted no more than 2 yards, the remaining 5 all but one resulted in 3 or 4 yard gains. Lenny was a great back drafted 1st round and picked #4 in the NFL draft. I watched him truck a lot of backs, check the A&M game, check how a former Auburn player quit on the play chasing him on National Television because of the power of his hits. Check out how he threw a player off of his back while running almost full speed. No matter how great a running back is, if you set up and broadcast your offensive play time and time again, everyone will stack the box against you and stop the run. LSU needs to spread the offense every once in a while just to give a different look even if they don’t pass the ball in order to take some pressure off of the running backs and have the defense back out of the box to cover receivers. I hope this helps. Thanks.

We can’t get any receivers open beyond 5 yards. I’ve never seen that at any level of football. Boutte runs 3 yard routes!!!! Why not a 20 yard crossing or post or opposite flag? Until we do then we can’t beat the teams that are decent. Right now it’s as if our receivers are 90 year olds in walkers. Covered like gloves!!!! I know the line isn’t blocking well but Daniel’s scrambles enough that somebody can run a route and get open. You get 320 lb linemen running faster going to a buffet than our receivers run
