I think this story tells you why they were greatest team in history. That recruiting class was so special. I understand and agree with the comment about Coach O. Yet, that year Coach O and his staff were dead on A game coaching. Just imagine if that defense had been healthy the whole regular season. What a special year and team.

Wut Bruh, this is the most normal practice stuff lol. ESPECIALLY at a D1 practice. Fights literally happen multiple times a practice. Heck, look up Foster's interview about his freshman year and all the fights HE got into...just him, and not just on the field. Heck, even in high school fights weren't uncommon. It's always offense vs defense trash talk or pride that gets guys going. It's a healthy balance.

What the hell was Coach O thinking. Imagine Saban telling his D not to hit the QB and they immediately hit the QB several times? And all of those ridiculous "Big Cat drills" where the team stands around instead of being coached up. There's a reason why LSU players improve so much once they leave LSU and go into the NFL.
