Hester was talking about Lee having a grade in the 40s for Nicholls. I was hoping he would improve but I am not sure it is going to happen. Hopefully, Paez stuffs the run and Breaux and McKinley learn really fast. I remember seeing LaCouture play every snap against Florida. What a workhorse.

I think that is certainly true, but I don’t think Carolina is that good. The win against Kentucky is deceiving because Kentucky is bad. Also, I think the focus is good because of the USC loss. But we will see

I know its just assumed that LSUs WRs are all NFL caliber studs BUT I’ve yet to see it from any of LSU ‘24 WRs. Lacy has all the “Tools” needed to be the next one up however he’s still TBD. As for Hilton, Anderson, Ibieta, Daniels, Sampson & Parker, they haven’t played enuf at LSU to know 4-sure but from what we’ve seen the nicest way to put it would be to say its been pedestrian at best.

To be honest I’ve heard ALL of these excuses for the past 2 years, and quite frankly I’m just tired of hearing them..getting out gained on the ground to Nicholls it a MAJOR red flag. Idk if it’s the coaches or personnel, but for some reason these recruits that have been recruited have severely underachieved so far

I think our coaches know Perkins is a better edge rusher but they have very little to stop the run between the tackles so they put him at line backer to help that! They are trying to fill holes!

Sounds like the Defense Coaches are going to earn their money. They are going to need to Coach up two players and rotate them in the game. Develop for now and the future. So sounds like a transfer and freshman will be taking the snaps.

I have learned many lessons in my life that when the name calling starts the person calling the names has already loss the Argument (Its not truly and argument but rather a opinion man). This brings me to the question as to how well you know Perkins? Have you spoken to him about his desires once he gets into the NFL? I don't know either way (outside rusher, Inside backer) which one he really prefers. I just say he seems to be at his best from the outside shaking up the back field of the opposing teams

I was hoping for this season to be great but we keep having injuries space lady in impact players the key players now this season just went down the drain that's the way I look at it can't blame Garrett nussmeier it's just a key weapons he had getting injured 😞 got to look forward to next season now we get a good record this season with all the stuff that we've been going through then I can't complain I can definitely see some people probably stepping up if we get a great record

Brian Kelly isn’t good at evaluating his team’s talent early in the season. We shouldn’t be having a top 20 opponent to start the year. I give example, Mason Smith as physically dominant he seemed he wasn’t even the second best tackle on the team.

Harold Perkins is a tweener… His NFL has to be dropping. Doesn’t look good at inside backer. He’s not versatile nickel, he’s either playing zone or rushing the passer which limits what the DC can call.. good at edge rushing but tough position against the run going against 330 lb tackles
