@@cane870 Nussmeier need to continue and work on his consistency of deep throw big plays with WRs. Also, they need to add a more mixture of his mobility to run and extend 3rd down play especially in the red zone. FGs is good but when you enter play off and championship games you need touchdown. LSU defense improved but they can only hold so much if they constantly on the field they will be tired and eventually break down.

When LSU beat Ole Miss in an emotional win, I was afraid they'd turn the corner and play inspired. Boy, did they. They were quite simply the better team last night. I'm not an expert, but to me, they seemed to play better in all facets of the game than they have all season. The other teams on their schedule this year have their work cut out for them.

Thank goodness LSU defense shown more improvement to hold the other team offense from scoring too much. LSU offense need to execute in the red zone. Scoring FGs is good but when you play against tougher team in the play off or championship game you need to score touch down.

I've been watching him since Cincy too and I do believe he can win a Nat'l Title at LSU. I'm old enough to know. The ND mystique is gone. He couldn't get the players Holtz and the other legendary coaches that were there could. They picked, everybody else recruited. ND was THE national recruiter back in the day. Kelly still became the winningest coach in ND history even though he couldn't get quite the same level of talent OSU, Alabama, Georgia can. At LSU he can. He has all he needs to win a natty at LSU. Other lesser coaches have done it he will too.
