I'm an Arkansas fan, and I never miss the trip when the hogs play in BR. LSU fans are often labeled as being rough and hostile towards opposing fans. I've only experienced the opposite. They've always been very welcoming and extremely hospitable. You may get a few barbs or a "tiger bait" thrown your way, but it's always in good fun and is usually followed up by being offered a beer and a bite to eat. I always make sure to be in the stadium at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff, as not to miss "Calling Baton Rouge" being played. It's really one of the neat traditions in college football. If you're at a game at LSU and you enjoy the pomp and pageantry of college football, you owe it to yourself to see it.

I live in Knoxville, TN but am a huge Bama fan. I go every time Bama comes to town. It used to be a small section of Bama fans. Now it’s about 50/50 the stadium is usually only half full by 4th quarter since it’s been a blow out past few years. The Vol fans don’t even talk smack anymore. They just nod their head and say I hope y’all don’t beat us to bad.

Im an Auburn fan and ive never understood how LSU Fans get the reputation they have. Yeah you will meet an ass or 2 here or there but that can be said about anywhere.. The only SEC stadium I've ever been to where the vast majority of fans were horrible was South Carolina.

Love both the Auburn and the Arkansas fans, I've had nothing but fun with both fanbases. South Carolina is great too. Bama and Ole Miss fans are the worst though. Love both of your fan bases, keep coming down and we'll keep serving you beers.

I spent a weekend in Tuscaloosa as an LSU fan about 7 years ago. We were tailgating and went to the game. There was the normal amount of trash talk amongst the fans, but besides that they were the warmest most welcoming ppl I’ve ever met. We invited some people we met back for gumbo at our campsite. They invited us to some parties. It was the best weekend I’ve ever had as an away game. Thanks Bama fans for the hospitality. It’s a hell of a rivalry,but at the end of the day. We’re all different, and we’re all the same.

The link below is to a video of Zenit St. Petersburg's team on their way to Gazprom Arena. The fans line the road for over a mile to give the team a flare greeting. It was an amazing experience I will never forget. I had tried to record it as the bus drove by us but my phone camera doesn't do well in the dark even when there are bright flares everywhere. The year before my mom and I were not aware of the flare greeting. This was my first time In BR and Tiger Stadium. My father is a Bama fan and I’m a Tiger fan so we’ve been traveling between both stadiums whenever we play each other. It’s been a rough couple of years lol, but if Tiger Stadium and Bryant Denny aren’t in the Top 3 for best stadium experiences then I don’t know who could top them.
