The funniest part about 18:28 is that from the other side I was wondering if LSV thought the Room could be flipped at instant speed! So at the same time he thought I was double checking the rule, I was considering whether he didn't know it either. Based on this footage he clearly knows how they work, but at the time I was like, "Does he have a combat trick or does he think the Room can be flipped or is he bluffing?" Since it was LSV I figured he probably knew how all the mechanics worked and I decided that if he did have a trick it would be a fine tradeoff. When he ended up having nothing and my creature lived I felt pretty pleased with myself for catching the bluff.

At 40:37 it really felt like you needed to meat locker and pyroclasm that turn to stave off the bleeding and prevent them from putting another threat onto the board you had no answer to. I think the game would actually have played out quite differently from that point giving you the breathing room to capitalize on your card draw, etc from that point. Of course hindsight bias is a thing but this just felt needlessly greedy in the face of the threats in play.

It’s honestly probably better for Luis to allow someone to draft a god awful day 1 5 color room deck and be able to beat it rather than give up the pick equity lmao

Enchantment fuse cards, kind of. When you cast it, you choose one of the sides and it enters as that enchantment. Later, you can unlock the other half by paying its mana cost, and then the enchantment has both abilities.

You can cast either half as a normal spell, then pay the mana cost of the other half to gain its abilities. A room entering or having its other half's mana cost paid counts as "opening a room."

I have never seen LSV make so many game-losing mistakes. Watching him get completely dumpstered by every legitimate deck and beating basically only trolls was pretty depressing, not gonna lie.
