Supreme drafts are just fun to watch pop off. It’s comical how busted it is. I think it’s a little better with no duplicates it somewhat limits the crazy insane decks you can build.

Maybe I misunderstand how it would work if duplicates were allowed, but I actually think the way it currently is leads to more busted decks. If you can't see a card more than once, it makes it much more likely that you see lots of pieces of power. It seems like by the time you get to pack 10-11, you see power in every other pack, sometimes two in a single pack because the pool of possible cards has shrunk so much. Having two Time Walks would be gross. But having Bright to Light or something show up half a dozen times in your packs taking up spots would be rough.

@@lusksepulveda1288theres some old supreme drafts on other channels with duplicate enabled, one I remember in particular had triple ancestral. Another had double lotus I think. Pretty consistent turn one/two kills

@@lusksepulveda1288 watch some old videos. These new ones I have yet to see a t1 kill. They are busted yes, but they aren’t doing what the duplicates games were doing. The new streamers have all had actual interaction between games that went on to turn 6 most of the time. I like it. I wouldn’t want a ton of it, but it is cool to watch the builds and the many different busted things they are doing. Also seeing the different ratings each card gets now once you see the card it’s gone is cool.

I think the card pool should be a bit different for this version of draft as well. Less aggro style cards. I think they could maybe try to enable a few archetypes that are blue + whatever color, to make the decks feel at least a little more unique.

I prefer normal drafts, while th gameplay of supreme is explosive and bonkers. I prefer the drafting of normal vintage cube way more.

Maybe if there was a stipulation or something. Otherwise it's exactly as LSV said: just don't look at Red, White, and Green cards, and maybe consider a few Black combo cards.

I think Supreme drafts are fun as a showcase of how busted vintage can get when you can basically craft a deck instead of drafting it, but regular drafts offer more variety and I like that more. It's also a bit of a shame that it's set in stone that the best deck will always remain the same, blue artifacts. Imagine if other colors would have cards with the same power level as Ancestral or Time Walk.

These are a very fun change of pace, keep it up!👍 I suggest maybe trying to force reanimator on the next one, as it seems like one of the few other decks that has a chance of working out. Sneak/show/reanimate style, plus u can have eldrazi which are good against brain freeze too.

What’s the top 30 cards in this format? Seems like power are stil top 10, followed by draw punishers like hullbreacher, Narset, bowmasters, and draw sevens are probably up there too. I would be curious to see where you put hullbreacher and academy in specific, because they both probably are higher picks than moxes. Like if you open a pack with time walk, hullbreacher, and a mox which 2 do you take?

That was me lol. I got distracted with an important phone call rights as match started and was like 50% paying attention. Wish it wasn’t against LSV on stream😂. Missed a ring activation, mana leaked into 3 mana. It was just misplay after misplay. I’m ashamed.

I have enjoyed this two drafts of Supreme but the problem is that when u r sure to hit a lot of power you will always go for blue 😂 so it gets ripetitive to me if you go for like 10 or more drafts😂 anyways keep up the good work!

didn't like it at first but this format is kind of addicting. been going almost perma 2-1 because it is hard to not get blown out by a god hand once or twice, but have managed 3 trophies. this format is actually good practice for how to Storm off in different ways if you don't normally do it in Cube like me.

Am i the only one thinking opponents board position was extremely fortuitous in game 1 when they scooped? Like bowmasters against 2 draw 7's. LSV dodged a bullet for sure, but what a deck!!

You end up seeing 270 cards, which is exactly half the card pool. It's not the best odds to find 1 specific card, even if speculating from pack 2 onwards.

What are you talking about? 1 in 2 odds is more than good enough odds to spec on bolas' citadel, not to mention that there wasn't even much else of use in the pack. Hell, you'd routinely spec on something like a worldspine worm which needs flash to pay off in regular draft, in situations you're only going to see another 1/4th to 1/5th of the card pool, and where there's actually competition for good cards like tinker/flash.

I think if you want to do more of these you should explore other colors but that may not be fun for you as it probably tough to handle the broken decks you can get in other colors. Its probably just a format where other strategies can't truly exist in so there would be no point in doing other color strategies. Otherwise I feel like a format that has been explored.

lmao this format is faster than actual Vintage...it's like everyone is just playing The People's Cannon (a.k.a. Glass Cannon Academy) because they get to play with 40 cards in their deck and opponents only have one Force of Will and one Force of Negation 😂

I've played this format a few times and gotta say, I am not a fan. It's basically who got the most power and counters gg. It's really not enjoyable game play. Regular cube draft has a bit more nuance.
