Phantom Dancer - if they wanted to make it viable they could just bring back its old 7% damage reduction on a marked target and ghosting effect like it used to in S5 and S6)

Hard to play. Kallista and Azir are both incredibly mechanical so your average player either otps them or stays away. Corki is an Adc in midlane so thats probably the issue normal players don't like him too much.

I feel like LS loses a little bit of credibility by being kind of an ass. His analysis all seems pretty spot on as far as I can tell but the delivery can be a bit rough. The fight around 14:00 is objectively a bad, but there is an argument to be made to "pull the goalie" rather than just sit in base and lose - I don't think they're "just griefing" or "happy to die" lol.

The thing is with League, losing more fights put you at a larger disadvantage. In hockey, you’re down 4 goals, the teams are no stronger or weaker than they were at the start. Pulling the goalie makes your offense stronger while sacrificing defense to try to make up the difference. “Sitting in base and lose” is never an optimal strategy. But throwing yourself at the enemy and banking on them messing up is a worse play. If you can work around the map and get picks and farm where you can you can stall out the game to get item power spikes and then go for an all in last ditch effort with towers backing you up. A fight at baron when C9 already has the buff on them is just a bad call. Spica was dead at the start of the chase and made it to Raptors by the time everyone else on TSM had died. It sounds mean (and probably is to an extent) but the bottom line is that TSMs mistakes were avoidable at the point in the game. The thing that id argue LS was wrong about was the fight in bottom lane at ~23 min. They picked Vulcan and had a 5v4 advantage and if they win the fight they get the infernal. That was a good call and their shot to get back into the game. Unfortunately for TSM they got wiped and that was pretty much it. Yes LS can be an ass. But with TSMs choices after that 23 min fight the flame is justified. The Corki pick probably got LS’s mind on the hate train because it was such a trash pick and then the build tilted him off the table

Bjergsen always was the coach. Would you rather listen to Bjergsen or some gold elo coach when it came to draft? TSMs bad drafts last year probably all came from bjerg. LS and Dom said on this weeks facecheck that TSM probably has a very wrong impression of what works in draft as they were able to outmuscle their opponents with any draft for a while. Bjergsen is a self taught genius but he likely collected a bunch of bad habits due to not having a more experienced player around.

I played Corki with Lyandris + manamune+ syraldi or however it's called and its pretty sick, not joking. You spam missiles like a turret and they do +350 dmg each. But it only works if you get fed, if not its pure trash. Happy coinflip build

Just get to 11k+ gold and be able to function....meanwhile you are down 3 dragons because you pretty much never have mid prio and are always playing from behind. Even in THIS scenario way more champions can take over a game at 3 items while not being an absolute liability before then.

It doesn't pay. As a streamer he makes way too much money to reasonably downgrade. The one time he considered with T1 he got harrassed by cancerous fans for almost an entire month. LS also wants to stay accessible for as many pros as possible to improve the game as a whole which he couldnt do as a coach to 1 team.

It all comes down to supports being balanced around having no gold, and not using gold efficiently, so when they *can* use gold efficiently (item change, yada yada yada), they become very strong. For example, when Karma mid was viable, she did just fine as an enchanter support, but put her mid, and she gets her spikes faster, she gets more damage, more utility, and she is a support , so she has great jg synergy.
