Miami Northwestern Senior High School senior Mya "Poison" Postell, having been one of three poets to advance to the final round of the 2023 #LTABFLA UKG Indy Finals, performs her 3rd round poem, "An Ode to the Black Woman Who Died to Make Childbirth Happen", presented at the City of Sunrise Civic Center Theatre on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. This original poem helped propel Mya to a 1st place finish in the 9th annual #LTABFLA competition. Louder Than A Bomb Florida 2023, which is a program of the Jason Taylor Foundation and its Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network, was a 39-day poetry festival and was presented by UKG and UPS.
