People need to understand that Lil mac isn't all about footies and traps like Ryu is. Play USFIV and you'll understand how he's supposed to be played. Ryu's Aerials aren't easy to see when you know how to mix in FADC's approaches in the air with your aerials. Seriously people down-playing on Ryu obviously don't know how good he actually is lol. Sad.

"He killed at 80% with no rage, that's just not fair" Regular up B shoryuken will kill at arround 100% depending on the character weigh, that was an input shoryuken tho, that will kill arround 70% for the smallest characters. If you had to do the shoryuken input to get no benefit, THAT would be unfair.

Ryu is just Little Mac with a good recovery and a KO punch he can do whenever he wants.

***** His recovery is decent, not good. And his Shoryuken is not safe at all. If you manage to shield it, you can legit just charge an f smash to punish his landing. Ryu also has insane trouble getting kills.

ChaosChicken200 True Shoryuken is pretty hard to punish on stages with platforms, sine he'll just land on them and not have a lot, if any, landing lag. Regular (bad) Up B is SUPER easy to punish though. And no, Ryu doesn't really have trouble getting kills at all. His weak up tilt and jab lead into True Shoryuken really easily, his aerials are strong as fuck or combo well so yea..

young Tenzin His aerials almost never truly get kills. His smashes are very unreliable for kills and the true Shoryuken is a punish or hard read move. You don't just throw it out there for the heck of it. Plus, most of Ryu's combos are damage combos, not kill set-ups.

His bair and dair kill super early. His smashes are definitly pretty terrible. And well, you can guaranteed combo into true shoryuken from both his jab and weak up tilt, both of which are pretty quick moves, so once again I don't see where this "problem with killing" thing is coming from. Jab/up tilt into true shoryuken kills at 80, what more could you ask for.

+Art yom Nope, it's the same. In SF4, FADC is used widely used even if you don't make a fit on your opponent. During a Focus Attack, double tapping left or right will cancel the animation, hence why it's called FADC.
