As much as I hate saying this, based on experience, I think Toxic is better. When your legendary meter activates, you're almost bound to die while putting it to use. Therefore higher damage output in exchange for shorter duration is simply superior.

For the variants who are basically just stock but different it really do be that way. At least for Commando Corn, Computer Scientist and Scallywag Imp (ignoring Scallywag also having his own easier to get and shorter meter), they are different from stock in significant ways

Toxic is better because his meter heals him back to half, making the dmg resistance even more impactful and his below par performance before hand worth it, if you play no meter toxic like a vulture and catch prey when theyre low hp, you can safely land a few punches to finish them off and be set for a full health encounter

Toxic Overload meter resets every time you die, unlike Party time (reviving). Surprised there was not a mention of this downside. It can have a impact based on the situation

Gain the ability to oneshot everything in the game, by slapping something a couple of times, aka by playing superbrainz. And he's not even useless without meter, as long as you pick your fights, wich is easy considering how fucking mobile he is. Yeah I think he's pretty good...

When I used to play PvZ Garden Warfare 2 I somehow never not even a single time gotten any variants for Super brain at all! After opening like tons of packs I literally just get Every other class except super brains somehow! 😅 Dunno if it's just my luck being bad or the game just doesn't want me getting any variants for the guy

@@Ultram-1985b Back in 2017, all the party characters were bad and did less damage than stock and in 2018 they got buffed to do the same damage as stock outside party time. Before the party character buff, it was a meme that Party Brainz was the worst zombie because his punch combo damage was only 5-15-35 which was terrible but now his damage was buffed to 15-25-45 which is the same as stock super brainz.

I think it all depends on circumstance when it comes to who’s better. If you can safely input more hits on enemies and get Toxic Overload quickly and consistently then TB will far outshine Party Brainz just by sheer time to kill difference. In a more competent lobby however, where you’re forced to run away after every fight making getting Toxic Overload inconsistent, Party Brains will just be the more consistent and less frustrating variant. But it’s just a fact that Toxic Brainz will outperform Party Brainz at their greatest, the difference in stats for the legendary meter and requirement makes Toxic Brainz all the more better (in the right circumstance).

Toxic will always be S tier for me because of my first hundred kill game on seeds of time where I took on like half-3/4 of the enemy plant team at the final objective gate. Also he’s S tier because of the dopamine hit of “WOOOOHOHOO”

Personally I feel that tb is better because of how fast you can recharge the meter. Well, yes, it’s easy to get it on party brains it’s much faster on toxic brains, which would allow you to be in the legendary mode more often which throughout an entire game can really add up.

after doing the form I have decided that both characters both are situational in getting their meter for pb you can he is still decent at multi-fights but his meter thrives off single 1v1 tb can jump into a group of plants and come out with a free legendary mode with and without the upgrades but since bumming is now the new norm for gw2 as 1 v 3 are expected toxic wins (sorry for the college essay btw)

Toxic brains just sorta amplifies all the original superbrainz's nonsense. Like half the cast can do almost nothing against superbrainz without at least one other player with decent aim present (as long as that player isn't some of the specific classes superbrainz counters well), and toxic brainz is almost equally as bad without the meter while being a whole lot harder to deal with when accounting the meter, specially with how easy it is to get. Most the cast can't do anything at all, let alone if there's more than one zombie present, and even with other people nearby its pretty hard to actually survive. And even then the plants that can actually sorta deal with a toxic brains mid-legendary meter mostly depend on landing their abilities to do so, and it's still not really a guarantee I don't think he's that absurd, but the ability to just win most 1v1s by default and having an extra meter that basically guarantees the superbrainz will leave a huge hole in the plant team just by showing up aren't exactly the traits of a low tier Worth noting that he seems much worse in gardens and graveyards though, since pots can put a huge dent on his hp without a lot he can do about it, and plants tend to be grouped up in the area but separate enough that he can't just kill them all in quick succession, but even then he's absolutely not useless in turf at all. Not sure how good he is on herbal assault but he seems fine enough i guess, though a lot of what i said applies

Super Brains in general rly on jumping the enemy to minimize the damage you take. Any competent player can easily counter a Super Brains if their cooldowns are up. Also don’t forget plants do an absurd amount of damage, it takes 2 of them to gun down a Brains in seconds.

In PVE based modes TB is basically in his mode 95% of the time making him a fast high damaging very high health killer and use to make any boss hunt his bitch. In a more competitive tournament setting party brains as your unlikely going to fill your meter up against comp players regardless making party brains base damage out class toxic boi In regular PVP if your in a mode we’re the pants are spawning a bunch of pots or especially if there spamming vase weeds toxic brains will make sure theres justice for this shit, but in general modes i would say party brains high based damage is good enough and his mode is just an extra bonus on top of what he can already can do

If we are talking GW2 on launch, it would be TB (at that time, the meter decay, where if you dont punch another after filling another part of your meter then it will decay gradually, was non existent bcs that was part of the beta). Yeah, TB had nerfs and buffs but at the end, it was just unmatchable. Until recent updates, more SBs were buffed and that just put TB under competition. Especially Party Brainz, this gay rights enthusiast is better than TB because he doesnt rely on his matter to be good. Other SBs that deserve a lighthearted spot are Tyberious Toaster and Cozmic aka "THE shit character" Its just Toxic yeah you had your times yeah youre good but its just time to move on
