LTJ Funerals International- The funeral of Ambassador Blessing Akporode Clark (1930-2022)

Ambassador Clark was a Permanent Representative of Nigeria to United Nations.
He Started his Primary & Secondary education at the Government College Ughelli, Delta state.
He proceeded to the University of Ibadan for the Tertiary education. After his university education, he joined the Old western Region Public Sevice as an Assitant in 1957 where he served in several capabilities before joining the Foreign Service in 1961.
As a Career Diplomat , Ambassador Clark played key role in Nation building and Sustained a good relationship between Nigeria and Multilateral Institutions. He rose to the position of a Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Permanent Representative of Nigeria to United Nations and Organization of African Unity.
He was also a former Nigeria's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Switzerland , he served Nigeria as a Diplomat in Europe, America and Africa.
On his retirement from active service, he was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Council on Foreign affairs from 1999 to 2015 . He has since then been serving as an active trustee and member of the Retired Federal Permanent Secretaries (CORFEPS) and Association of Retired Career Ambassador of Nigeria (ARCAN) .
He was also Conferred with the National Honor of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON)
Ambassador Blessing Clark was a renowned Elder Statesman, a Diplomat, who served his country in so many positive ways.
He is sorely missed.
