Long distance day trains are a pain, specially when they only have chairs. Planning overnight journeys is better, which also helps in saving on hotel room.

@RobandJenny dude better go to the hilly areas to get away from the heat. Go to Himachal Pradesh aur utarakhand or the north east states. They are gorgeous and a little colder or much colder than the places u r going to currently. And Mumbai is expecting a lot of rain and it will be difficult to go out anywhere. And it is expected that there is cyclone or something coming up. So just look into all that. Have a safe trip.

Which station did you get off in Mumbai. I used VT station in center. Which mobile carrier do you use. Any problems, costs , how much data, is it 4 G. Your bags look too big. I carried more when I started travelling but by buying better gear a 40 L carry-on bag and a small day/ shoulder bag is the best.
@RobandJenny5 жыл бұрын
We went into Madurai Junction. We have a few things, though we have sent some stuff home now since we have done a trek in Nepal and saw some stuff we didn't need. We were using 4G. We had Vodafone, we would have preferred Jio but we struggled to buy the sim card as foreigners. We had about 1.5 GB a day each which was plenty. Thanks for the comment! 😀

For even a journey for 100 km sleeper coaches are best. If you want to travel in Chair Car coach, it is better to walk around so than no pain will be experienced by sitting for hours. I said this because of fear of train being late Example for Chair Car coaches only trains ( except this train) : Shatabdi, Gatimaan, Tejas,( premium) Janshatabdi, Intercity, local ( common ordinary trains)

You seem to have a condescending attitude towards the country. I've been through a couple of your vlogs and I've been getting that vibe everytime. Can't point out exact instances though. It's just the tone sometimes. Not very professional, but then again, you're growing, so I guess you'll get better with time. I don't want to demotivate you or anything. It's just my observation. All I can say is, don't tour India with a western mindset. You'll never enjoy it that way. Be open to things that'll come your way. Experience everything. Don't compare. That way, you'll have a unique trip. India is not everyone's cup of tea. It certainly ain't mine, and I'm an Indian.
@RobandJenny5 жыл бұрын
Sorry you felt that way. We do try and look on the positive side of everything. There are always some times which are a bit more difficult than others, but genuinely we enjoyed our time in India. And we are so glad of all the places we went and things we saw! We hope you weren't offended by anything we said or did.

Considering the heat and unemployment in India, I , as an Indian shall never visit India. You should be more cautious about roaming at deserted places and eating random things on trains. If my younger brother or sister would do any of these things then I shall suggest him/her to not to do these two things. You two seem to me as really well educated people from some developed country. Please be safe and use the suggestions given by some travel vloggers on KZbin. Love.
