When inspecting atvs or dirt bikes with bucket style dual came setups or single cam bucket style setups I recommend pulling the cam caps because the cams, cam seats on the cylinder head, and cam caps tend to be a area overlooked and most of the time with none running motors they have scoring or deep gouging causing the cams to sit at a slight angle it’s very important to inspect everything and not to cut corners or you will be redoing the process all over again… trust me I’m a professional powersports technician!

If that is a 2005 or later(resi shocks) they put an earlier swingarm in it 😯. No wonder it was all loose. Nice work!

greetings from Germany!!! I recently bought a LTZ 400 myself and im completely in Love with this machine. Mine is tuned for street only and probably a little cleaner but since I had it the carburetor made little problems because the pre owner of my vehicle serviced and repaired it itself but not quite correctly so basically gas just floats permanently and all sealings are worn out broken or not even there. Im not a mechanic either so I gave the entire carburetor to a friend who has more knowledge about this topic and hopefully after its fixed properly the entire thing runs like a clock again. reason im writing this is your video already helped me and you're a very nice person. Thanks for that

I would just ride it till it dies! It will start making engine noise and smoke out the exhaust when the motor is ready to rebuild.

@@RCBGarage I hope this won't happen very soon from now, but when it does I´m watching these exact videos again
