You can easily tell that her first runway was definitely a performance. Her poses are deliberate; you can see a pageant style approach to her poses, looks, face gestures. Because thats what Sierra does! She is a beauty pageant coach. When she later joins the designer you can tell her guard is down and shes even holding her dress (which is a often a no no in modeling).

well many of u guys were complaining and i sure do really understand it BUT this type of catwalk that LU just showed was typically how 90s supermodel did back then.. look at naomi or tyra they shake their hips alot too.. and from 00s up to eras more models were not allowed to shake their hips and show their personality on the runway except for victorias secret fashion show. if u watched her biography here on youtube she was actually appeared on the same era as 90s supermodel and was on the way to gain success like her fellow models. she had a killer stage presence tho BUT so sad she left modelling before she reached her highest peak..

Awesome, very expressive walk by Lu. I’m not impressed by this fashion designer’s gentleman manners, though. He seems to be forgetfull or somehow ignorant toward the model on his right hand side. x3. If this is high fashion, high-end clothing, luxury item industry, and the man walks inbetween two ladies (no matter how much higher on the industry pedestal he is) then the high gentleman behavior should be in place too. Those two gowns looked gorgeous mainly because of those two beautiful models wearing them for his show.

The problem with her walk is it’s too pageantry! It’s different from modeling. If you will watch pageants like Miss Universe, the contestants do not win because of what they wear-it’s how they bring their selves from the dress-the focus is on their selves, not on what they wear. That’s how I look at this model. In modeling, you need to showcase the product and you do not need to let the audience be more focused on your walk but on the products. You have to let them feel that they should look and be confident just like the models when they wore the dress. Basics of salesmanship! I didn’t know Lu Sierra but she is nothing compared to supermodels like Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks.
