I felt in love immediately on its storylines and now at this moment of writing I've open a Netflix account for subscription - so I can watch the full episodes of this beautiful and amazing drama series - with athletic actors and actresses here. I didn’t really like their relationship at first. I thought Ying was being too clingy and trying way too hard. She was very annoying at first. I honestly liked Lu Xia’s relationship with the other guys because it seemed more natural. Their relationship seemed very one-sided at first, I really hated it. But later on, Lu Xia starts to accept it. I really didn’t approve of this since I thought it was forced. But Ying actually really cares for Lu Xia and he somewhat gives that back in his own way little by little. It’s touching, but I wouldn’t call it one of my favorite ships. It’s a nice ship, and I can see why people would ship it, but it’s not that great, I feel like their relationship could’ve been more complex. Ying’s affections and actions towards Lu Xia were a little too predictable, and I feel that their relationship could’ve been better if she took it slower and didn’t be so obvious. Also, Lu Xia was really blind if he couldn’t tell that Ying liked him. If he paid more attention to her, maybe he would’ve caught on, but he didn’t, so I don’t think he would be the type to show much affection. His jacket move was definitely a curve ball, and it was sort of out of place. They don’t hang out that much, and I don’t even think you could consider them close friends. It’s more of a crush, than a relationship. Their relationship could’ve been developed better. This is just my opinion, so don’t come attacking me. P. S. Read the manga

Songs Mirth that is bc you watch in Chinese point of view. But if you already watch the anime Version,bc the drama is using the anime version to act. So for someone like me who already know what happened in the anime,I just think it is cute. It’s not that I am disagree with you. It’s just for me, I don’t really mind this at all. These two are definitely not in a relationship 😂😭 yes, it’s a crush from QiYing towards Lu Xia, with minor reciprocation. But nothing is wrong with that! At such a young age, many girls form crushes on boys while hardly knowing them-being handsome and sweet on several occasions is enough to capture girls’ attention. and a select few are confident enough. What’s wrong with girls being obvious? Yes it’s cringey af when she kind of goes a bit overboard but I’d rather a girl who tries and chases the boy, instead of a girl who only knows to cry and play the damsel in distress. It’s nice seeing an innocent, pure love with the girl trying to gain a boy’s affection, while being supportive of him and his goals.

Songs Mirth I don’t think she was going too far to gain his attention at all. 1. He never turns her down or acts uncomfortable with what she’s doing 2. It’s nice to see a girl being sweet and supportive towards a crush. And I wouldn’t say he’s not interested. At the very least, I think it was a good depiction of puppy love from a girl, to a boy that she formed a harmless crush on. She gives him items and gifts like a girl with a crush would, but he gives her harmless small items from time to time too. Like soda cans, and then there was the fish, and jacket. It might not be much but it’s decent enough coming from a boy, who’s obsessed with tennis and nothing else. Also, he wore the wristband she made for him pretty early on which means he’s either dense enough to think it’s just friendly, or that he accepts her feelings for him and is fine with their dynamics at the moment. They also have several intimate talks, and there were instances she helped him while he was injured. He held her wrist that one time when she was trying to apply medicine to the wounds on his face and that’s a pretty forward move. Also, when he rushed out to find her in the rain and all. Also, nothing is wrong with her being his biggest fan 😂 what started out as a crush doesn’t always stay as a crush. It can slowly evolve into a deeper understanding between both parties, which can eventually lead to love. So the two of them are currently in the initial phase. With their age, nothing is odd about that.

As someone who grew up on the Tenipuri anime and the Tenimyu musicals, seeing such a modern and hetero adaptation of this story is...weird and jarring. To me, this story doesn't work unless powered by unspoken gay feelings. That said, it's good to see a female character get a prominent role and more to do in the series, so it's a fair tradeoff and I'll take it.

Well, how to explain it, the author of Prince of Tennis, Takeshi Konomi Sensei, in recent years gave a decent amount of spotlight to Sakuno in the manga, at least for a female character. And in the most recent movie, Ryoma and Sakuno shared a song and a sweet moment, so you know, the author kinda likes their interaction, at least to give them a movie and a spot on the recent anime that was rushed as hell. So no wonder this adaptation is taking hints from the manga as well, I say it's pretty decent.
