Lubigi channel opening - Uninterrupted developments complied environmentally

The operation to open and unblock water channels under the Lubigi Wetland restoration exercise, supervised by Wilberforce Wanyama, has kicked off under tight security. During the exercise, some angry evictees attacked and injured one journalist, Abu Batusa, and destroyed his camera. Police managed to arrest several gang members involved in the attack.
