Hello. Please review your Ariel spec sheet for lubrication. I believe the pressure is 3000 PSI for 1 minute. Allowable pressure loss is 500psi within 1minute. As per Ariel. You can get any/all info from the info plate on the cover. It will have a frame serial number. 500psi is a failed section.

I thought this video was to check for no flow. All this did was check for leaks. Was a rupture disc blown? What caused the compressor to trip on a no flow?

Not sure what his issue was but on the Angi compressors I work on we had excessive cycle time and faulting on no lube oil flow. Ive adjusted the pump, tested distribution blocks, replaced blocks, swapped pump to other compressor. The only thing physically left to swap was the distribution block base. Replaced that and fixed my problem. Fast forward a year the other compressor did the same exact thing, weird!

Random internet search lead me here😂. But any chance you checked the screen on the day tank? The one on top of the level box inlet can build up with this lint type stuff. It can lead to all sorts of oil related problems. Hopefully it faults on oil signal or level first. But it can slowly cause other problems. I highly recommend cleaning them out at least quarterly. But if it’s bad enough pull out the day tank and either replace it or wash it really well. It will help alleviate a lot of other problems for a very long while.
