SIMULATION - Not all motion is added by the animators, some motion, including the fish in Giulia’s hand and water falling from the fountain are simulated effects.
LIGHTING - The final lighting changes the atmosphere of the entire scene. This work-in-progress render does not have the high image quality of the final movie.

Eu acho que isso é proposital. Os filmes mais recentes da Pixar , todos tem noise. Acho que porque querem deixar com um estilo de "película de cinema", algo mais real, menos artificial

No this is most likely the viewport have no lighting this make the whole model darker than it intend to be. Once u throw in the lighting ta-da it looks brighter

its to reduce render times. its not a full resolution render, so they can see changes being updated faster

Simulation is a different department. They would get you the free secondary motion on things like the fish and the characters hair , using your animation to drive it.
