Nice, but there is a small but of misinformation here. Using the SC Filter on Pro-C2 does not "exclude the lows and highs from the compression", like the animation you have of Pro-MB compressing only the midrange that precedes it. Instead, it basically tells the compressor what part of the frequency spectrum to RESPOND to (or listen to), but the compression itself is is broadband and not band-limited.

Technically true, but it’s common for pro engineers to speak of this as though it’s the same thing… and if you listen to the results, you can understand why.

He has a few ways of doing it, one is standard clip into Diamond Lift. But my fav is pro Q cut the lows, into standard clip (2x32offline) into another pro q bring back the lows, into another Standard clip then into Pro L. Its super clean. You can also replace Pro MB with Diamond Transient to compress the mids and expand if needed. Luca is a fucking boss!
