Heres a story or two from my school: As most know, theres a bit of a teacher shortage, but this is no excuse. My math teacher was teaching how to find the surface area of a cilinder. (Btw im 90% sure this dude was h!gh as his eyes were always bloodshot and when i questioned him, he said he was up playing video games. THAT CAUSES EYEBAGS. NOT BLOOD SHOT EYES) anyway he says you get the area of a circle (correct) then multiply it by the diameter... (VERY wrong) i try explaining the stupidity of this (respectfully of course) but my entire class hates my guts so no one believes me. Fast forward to the next day, and another tearcher comes and reteaches the lesson cause this dude f'ed up the lesson so bad. And she tells everyone you multiply the area by the circumference of the circle. You know, THE EXACT THING I TRYED EXPLAINING. I had to use every ounce of will power to not scream "I told you so" at the top of my lungs.
