Also what I think people don’t understand is how hard it can be for some couples who truly wanna have kids. Like imagine getting more than one miscarriage over the years, like that’s very scarring on the mother and the father. Obviously she’s gonna get emotional and triggered by hearing someone else talk about how it’s so easy for them to have kids

the second one is kinda a bad parent and a bad sister. first off Georgia is literally spoiled, you can't just let your kids do whatever they want all the time, they need discipline, it's not bad to put your foot down sometimes, and it's just lunch she doesn't need to look like a million dollars. Her dress probably would've gotten dirty anyway. Also how could she ask her sister who she knew was financial struggling to reimburse (repay) them?? Her daughter was being an asshole anyway, she could have thrown away the dress as punishment.

the second story wasn’t even an asshole move. they were in the right. if you spill something on someone’s expensive dress, pay them back. it isn’t your dress and you have no obligation towards that dress.

Well yes but she knew her sister was struggling with money. Instead they should just have told her sisters daughter that she will be in debt to her daughter because there 13 and when ur 14 you can start working a job so her sisters kid will be able to pay them back what the dress costed and get out of debt. But that's just my opinion.

Honestly I think both the OP and sister were in the wrong. OP was wrong for asking her sister who's struggling with money and the daughter was asked not to wear expensive dresses when they visit and not following along was wrong, and the sister was wrong for excusing her daughter for ruining a expensive item. While yes, OP is right for being mad over the ruined expensive item, they're wrong for not being more sincere with her sister's wishes and that was karma

I honestly don’t know the girl did not need to throw milkshakes on her but still if someone said well you can’t afford it any way I would throw a milk shake at her to. But if you can afford to buy your daughter all these dresses you don’t need to ask you struggling sister to pay you back. And if your then mom you can tell your daughter what to do. So she is a half ass hole.😂
