This is not related to the video but I obviously want to mention it since I did fly around the New York City area in the video. I would like to take a moment to recognize and remember the near 3000 lives that were claimed on September 11th, 2001 after a horrid attack took place on the twin towers in NYC, 19 years ago today. No one deserved to lose their life that day, and let it be a day we never forget.

It did fly under the Eiffel Tower, a cap-10 was stolen on the 15th of september 1991, from the "aéroclub Sadi Lecointe" at LFPE, by one of it's members, he flew under the Eiffel Tower, landed in the country side, took the compass as a souvenir and we never found him !

There was a famous dogfight in Paris several months before liberation in 1944 when a P-51B Mustang chased and shot down a Messerschmitt Bf 109G under the arches of the Eiffel Tower. The American pilot flew through anti-aircraft batteries firing at him at almost point blank range the whole time. It must have looked like that final scene in Star Wars when they attacked the Death Star!

Try using a smaller plane, like a German Messerschmitt 🇩🇪 The French will automatically surrender at the end of your session ✈🗼🇫🇷 Charles Godefroy was a French aviator & WWI Ace who became famous for flying through the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on 07 Aug. 1919 in a Nieuport 27 fighter. The width of the Arc is 47.6', not much more than his wingspan of 26.9'. Any flight sims. for the Arc?

I was part a a sim squadron flying MS Combat Simulator in WWII. One of the audition flights was to fly under the Eiffel Tower. If you couldn’t do at least that you weren’t good enough for our squadron.

Lots of fun! 😲😄😄 But you were nearly always outside of the White Arc, and putting flaps down before the WA? Would, in reality, damage the flaps. Speed control is key before and after applying flap. Flaps reconfigure the wing for low speed and high maneuverability. I think some of those bigger jets might have made it under the Eiffel Tower with flap, better speed control.🤔🤔🤔👍👍
