Hi Christina. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I love them, they’re so helpful. I love making miniature leaves (1:12) and flowers but there are very few veiners and cutters for this size and they cost a fortune. Could you make a 1:12 scale video of flower & leaf making with cold porcelain please? X

That test has helped answer SO many questions I have. Thankyou x How long does the oil paint take to dry? Should I buy/ need some liquin ? I read it's speeds drying up but just starting so not wanting to buy loads of stuff

buy MR CLEAR spray , semi-gloss is my fave finish, it's brilliant for drying paint, for this sort of thin layer one or two spray covers, more if thicker pain layer...I didn''t know about it at the time of making this video

Lindos tus videos pero sería lo máximo si fuera subtitulado en español! Enseñas excelente linda!
@Amazingsugarflowers Жыл бұрын
Iris claro que puedes tener subtitulos en español. Te vas a settings que es la tuerca, clic subtitulos, auto-translate y ahi buscas el idioma.

Hi! I made a DIY cold porcelain before and when i put wire into it the wire tend to rust... 😞 How could i prevent that? Or do you use special wires? I used floral wire before.
@sonofhibbs4425 Жыл бұрын
Late reply but it may help…. Wires should be wrapped in floral tape. There is floral wire and there is floral wire wrapped in floral tape.

Hi Christina! Could you please share where one can get that beautiful leaf cutter? I can only find plastic ones, they are less than desirable in my mind...and show us how to make good veiners please? I am looking for a good method of making my own veiners...Thank you! Blessings to you. Love your videos and this one is helpful for sure! I have just gotten some fabric dye to try using to color my cold porcelain. I need consistent colors, and figure these are made to color things. I just got it on Friday, I will let you know how things come out...I'm thinking if I color the batch of clay at the making of it, it might not dry out as quickly as mixing in the color later on because it adds air when you mix, so I'll let you know what I find out as time goes on. Of course, this is only for cold porcelain, not gum paste!

Oh, and since I have not yet used oil paints on my cold porcelain, this is VERY helpful! I've used the pan pastels, I've used acrylics, I've used water colors, permanent markers and watercolor markers, but I've avoided oils due to asthma and disabling multiple chemical sensitivities. Have you tried the oils you can mix with water yet? I've been considering giving them a try, but some colors fade over time, and I don't want that in something I either give away or sell. Thanks for sharing your info, it is so helpful! Blessings again and again to you!
