I got to one shot a shiny hypno with my lucario. Was fun. Mantine does really well against fighters too, and was really strong in the 10-17 range but just doesn't have the damage output needed. He needs a harder hitting nuke move I think. I almost ran him with Lucario though but I'll def try this team. Also really enjoying steelix in the back.

I've been using tropious with wing attack leaf blade and aerial ace cradilly with bullet seed grass knot and stone edge as safe swap and magcargo with incinerate Stone edge and overheat it's been really good but wanna see you try it

I was forcing Steelix so much the last couple days and this team seems better than what I´ve been doing lately. The most succesfull line I got was Peliper-Steelix-Registeel but seeing a million Unova Stunkfisk every day ruined it xd.

Oh noooo. Unova stunfisk would also be quite challenging for this team. If you're seeing it a lot, maybe building a team around an ice or grass type will help since you can hit it for super effective damage!

@@HomeSliceHenry Yeah I´m definitely lacking on the ice department but I´ll farm those Snorunt and A-Vulpix on the upcomming event for sure. I´ve also tried Sceptile but the lack of bulk make it not good enough to beat U-fisk consistently without commiting shields. Steelix will be back!

Mantine isn’t really exceedingly tanky as it shares the exact same stat spread as skarmory, which, is tanky but I wouldn’t put it in the realm of other tanks like basti, diggersby

Can you run absol possibly? I know it’s completely awful but i bet you can make it work. I used it for an entire split of ultra league and i went from 2900-2200 😂😂 i didnt have the right pokemon at the time to run it with him. im going to try again now that i have a fully build cress and giratina. Also that Lucario sweep was brilliant

I've been using Lucario for Remix and also open Great for a while, and got my best record of all time in GBL using him. But I actually used Close Combat. Most people don't like shielding the PuP or think you made a mistake and threw too early for it to be a Shadow Ball, only to get slapped into oblivion by the CC.

I have noticed that all the pokemon you use have very low attack IV, can someone explain me why? I always choose the pokemons with highest IVs for the three categories so this confuses me a little bit

For pokemon that max above the maximum cp for a league, you typically want lower attack, as that allows you to run higher level pokemon, which typically perform better. Attack is higher weighted in the cp formula than hp or defense

Typically the goal is to swap out in neutral or lost leads to check for a counter to your back pokemon. That way you can defeat it with your lead, and your final pokemon is then clear to sweep
