Sky septiceye As a really big choir nerd who has been in a choir since 2nd grade it just takes practice, sure it takes a lot of practice but it's worth it. I struggle with a lot higher notes because I'm a Soprano 2 (can't reach the high soprano 1 notes but can't reach the low alto notes) so it could just be your vocal range. Then as for resting your voice, lemon tea with honey or eating a marshmallow are great ways to help.
