Lucas Transmission Fix for preventative maintenance

I used this today & it immediately fixed my transmission shifting issue on my 2011 Chevy Malibu. After getting my transmission serviced at Valvoline (before I knew anything about cars at all, guy just said It was due when I went for an oil change) my car was shifting so hard in city, 0-40mph was the worst. When I let off my gas, to coast or slow down without actually breaking, it used to down shift hard & jerk. Speeding up from one of these “coasting slow downs” or when I would accelerate from a complete stop, it would hesitate and shift hard before even hitting 20mph. Didn’t have a problem with RPM or over heating though. Anyways, after using this, literally in the first minute, the issue is gone. My car is running so smooth, as if Valvoline never touched it. Which they won’t, EVER again. Thank you for this product. Seen it from all the mechanics here on KZbin and this stuff is no joke, amazing.

Man i use their products in everything i own and love it . Been using their products for a long time now and in several vehicles that I've owned or customers/friends that had vehicles that had a transmission that wouldn't even barley move and then you throw 1-2 bottles of this in it with new fluid and filter change and the vehicle ended up being back as a daily again . Ones that had a jerking issues or shifting real hard this stuff took it completely away like a night and day difference. I use their power steering leak fix , high millage lucas oil treatment , and the trans slip fix . The lucas oil treatment really helps engine's with high milage that has a lifter tick or low oil pressure when hot or even bottom end noise from bad bearings . No lie man i used this stuff for 5 years in my 85 S10 cause the engine was so worn out and had bad bottom end bearing issues and it never ever once gave me a problem and it was my daily , helped me save up to find another engine for it

This product works pretty good I added it after a transmission fluid change and I could tell a bit of a difference car definitely shifts sooner when going in higher gears and seems to have a more solid shift.

I had flaring shifts on a 6R80 that had 200,000 miles on it but had a fluid and filter done at 175,000. It really wasn't sliping it just seemed like solenoids were laggy. It worked.

We were 275 miles from home when our 1996 Ford Econoline Van/ campers transmission starting slipping. I bought a jug of Lucas Transmission treatment, and put 1/3 bottle in. It ran smoother, but acted up again, so I put another 1/3 bottle in. Ran great after that, and we made it home safely. Seems to shift better than ever. Hopefully its not just a temporary fix.

Yes our Transmission Fix will work to fix or reduce shudder. Do not overfill your transmission. If your transmission is at capacity, we recommend removing about 20oz then adding a bottle of our product. If low, then you may add it to the existing fluid or add a bottle at your next transmission service.

Car works well, but sometimes it kind of jerks when downshifting, and has a small almost not noticeable leak. should I add like half a bottle and see what happens? Those two products are the same. LUC10009 is a part number that O'reilly Auto Parts uses for their inventory. 10009 is the part number Lucas Oil uses.

Hello! Hopefully you still respond to these. My fluid is already at the max line, should I drain out a bit of the fluid before adding this or just add it when full? Edit: I saw you say that you do not need to drain any, does this fluid not increase the levels at all?

The 12 oz bottle is safe to be used as a top treat to your existing fluid. Adding this to a full system will not cause harm to your transmission.

Hello. Please can help?. I have a citroen C6 with automatic gearbox aisin warner tf80sc, the capacity is 7 Liters. I bought a container of 24 Oz. Is it necessary to pour the whole pot or could I pour half? My ATF is recent (less than 1000 km) and what happens to it is that in S mode (sport) the changes are abrupt. In D mode it works pretty well. If I have to add 24 Oz, do you recommend draining 700ml of ATF? If I only pour half, is it necessary to drain 350 ml? Thank you. Greetings

Yes, we would recommend the use of one complete bottle. We recommend properly checking your transmission fluid, if low then add to existing fluid. If the system is at capacity then remove about 20 oz then add our product.

If you are experiencing slipping or hard shifting after adding the product, we recommend you a full treatment. Will this product help if the forward clutch is broken in an automatic transmission? Because my 06 Crown Victoria has this problem and when going from reverse to drive in the morning I have to rev up the engine to 4000rpms to engage drive to get going then it shifts fine after that.

If we were to recommend a product to help alleviate this issue with your Crown Vic it would be our Transmission Fix #10009. It will help clean and lubricate sticking valves for better shifting. because CVTs don't need shifting through a valve body or wet clutches that need enough fluid pressure to shift. CVTs are still new and cannot be maintained. Once the bands break, you need a new CVT unit.
