I have to admit, I'm a 14 year old guy who doesn't dance, I wrestle and run track, but after seeing this I fell in love with Dance Moms Miami, and I downloaded the whole season on my iPad and the kids are great and now I really like this song haha

I agree completely. I think that most of these incredibly capable dancers deserve choreography more appropriate to what has gone on in their lives. Sadly, competition circuits are big fans of 'dark' and 'wounded' feeling pieces because they're supposed to be mature themes to confront. The problem I see is that it's very easy to stagnate in the misery of these pieces and focus on being as twisted as possible instead of producing work that comes from an organic place involving other experiences.

also, as somebody who danced at a very young age, i know the pressures of growing up as a male dancer. these costumes are undoubtedly taking a toll on his self-confidence.

He is good but has so much more to offer. Legs is not everything in dance. I have two young men touring with Bad Boys of Dance with Rasta Thomas and I know what it takes to train young men. Lucas needs to learn to turn. This will only add yet another dimension to his dancing.

Lucas is ADORABLE, and his extentions are sick! Like, crazy good, but there isnt much else to it (and all the extention is on the same side...need to practice some on the left ;). I wish the guys were better with their choreography, and sadly the one turn he actually did wasnt clean, and the run into the one leap was sloppy...great potential though. He is still super young!
