I have started on this journey 3 days ago and saw all 4 parts of this series. I downloaded Visual Studio Code and Python, and am both learning Python and how to build Discord bots at the same time. Your videos are being very helpful at starting this journey, thank you! Small question, what "color theme" are you using in VSC ? None of the options I have seem to match what is on your video (I like better the scheme you are using).

that looks like material theme to me and another extension called bracket coloriser but i'm not sure as i don't use visual studio code

Dam after seing this its gonna make my life a lot easyer First made my bot in C# A lot more work and easy to break with one update Because of that a re coded it today in JS But now im gonna do it once again but use PY instead this saves me a lot of work and time And for sure one i reccoment to everyone never used PY myself mostly C# and JS/node or my dicord and twitch bots but never again Thank you so mutch hope to see more with even more functions like embeds and all that mabey a small mini game for fun For sure a new sub here great job👏

it's called type annotation/ typehinting and it's a python thing, you're basically telling your linter that ctx there is a lightbulb. SlashContext object.
