Haha. The racks would melt. I would love to learn how to forge especially if I get to make awesome historical weapons.

That was Boss cutting in the parking lot. I am building a 12 high fb40 again, going to use my router and cut 1/2 inch dattos to seat the shelves in snug and use pvc glue instead of screws to weld the pvc to itself. Should look nice and clean. I have found routing all the heat tape grooves and dattos for shelves are much easier when the sheet is full and not ripped down. Send you a pic when I'm done.

you do great work.. I like the pride you put into it.. using home depot parking lot was a smart idea.. Now I just need a portable circular saw..

Get some cordless tools. They're worth the extra cost over corded tools.

@@LucasLandonRoyals I’ve switched everything else over but the saw. I’m not sure I use it enough to justify the cost but I am envious.

How do you determine the exact spot to drill in the side screws into the shelves. I’ve gone too high or low before
@LucasLandonRoyals Жыл бұрын
I just eyeball it. You may want to measure and mark where to screw.

Where do you get your casters? Also, what are the advantages in using a round headed screw? Love the channel!
@LucasLandonRoyals4 жыл бұрын
All the materials were purchased at home depot. Screw heads that are beveled and flat are made to sink under the material surface. The dome head Screws are for sitting above the materials surface. The wider the diameter of the screw the more it spread out the pressure.

How many thermostats do you have controlling 72 tubs?

Do you still use the STC-1000 temperature controller units? If so how well do they last and how have they worked for you?
@LucasLandonRoyals2 жыл бұрын
I have approximately 50 units running. They do a great job. Over the years there has been 1 that stopped working. At $15 each, it was easy to replace

why cant I find pvc sheets at my local home depots?? i live in california
@keithfaulkner63192 жыл бұрын
Home depot doesn't carry pvc in chicagoland either. Try Menards.
