Some people said they didn't get it: it's a Django-inspired French swing version of Lucca's Theme (Fanfare 1) from Chrono Trigger a la Stephane Grappelli 😁

This is so cool! I love this French swing version of Lucca's Theme, and all the original bits are great. It's very unique and catchy. Great job!

Thanks! I tried to make it playful and light :) sometimes it's nice to not have 10 instruments on an arrangement since it goes together so much more quickly, but it feels like I have to make a spectacle to be worth the views sometimes.

Thanks so much! I've been trying to figure out where to put my effort lately since my videos aren't doing very well anymore, so it definitely helps to hear about the things people are enjoying!

@@SheaViolin There's so many fantastic covers out there so I have found myself just putting them in the 'watch later' tab on yt...but I still want to show my support and do whatever a comment does for the algo when I do get to listen! Your stuff is fantastic always and views don't correlate to quality all or even most of the time.

I know there's so much quality around now that it's not enough anymore! I'm going to keep doing what I can to figure this out in a sustainable way!

Marle: "Excuse me? Um...what year is this?" NPC: "France." The title and thumbnail had me cracking up, not knowing what to expect. 😆 Very nice jazzy take on Lucca's fanfare! Enjoy this weekend with the kiddos!

Thanks so much Thomas! I tried to have a little fun with it. I was considering going to the store to get a baguette to bow the violin with, but I didn't quite have enough time to manage that bit ;)

Django was like a special character that somehow becomes unbeatable after he loses part of his hand.

People can do amazing things, especially when they have limitations, I think that's one thing that the 8/16 bit eras of music and Django both proved!

J’ai un peu honte, je n’avais pas reconnu le thème à la base, par contre la réinterprétation est très cool ! Sinon, c’est quoi le problème avec la France ? :D
@SheaViolin6 ай бұрын
There's no problem with France! It's just the Django style swing! :)
