Do you plan on learning music theory sometime in your life?
@mise69696 ай бұрын
I genuinely don't even think about music theory. I just go with the flow😄

I already know and to be honest you don't need to know much unless you wanna make some weird chords and play piano

A way to progress massively is recreate songs you like but by ear and then you will learn what sounds good/ looking at remakes at using same notes

I haven’t watched you Lucent in a while, I remember you used to have 20k subscribers and dropped your drumkit which I still rock, glad to see you have improved, without you I wouldn’t be still making beats🙏❤️

I really like how u explain as ur making beat vs just sitting there and making a beat. I'm also a music produce. I make instrumentals for people to listen to or use in their content

How do you find the key when posting beats and sending to artist if you don’t use Scale highlighting? Like if you’re just making beats without thinking of any music theory whatsoever
@endlesspath-bb6yt6 ай бұрын
I think they either use tunebat or they just know the chord they played and what note it started on
@Prod.KAY-Y6 ай бұрын
@@endlesspath-bb6yt that’s what I’m thinking but i feel trapped in a box often. I have pretty good ears but it’s just a lil confusing when I use the highlighting after making something random and there’s a note or 2 out of “the key”, which is kinda jazzy but idk just confusing.
@lucent1006 ай бұрын
There’s vsts you can install that you can put on your master to see what the key is at the end of your beat

hey bro i commented this on a old video a few mins ago but i dont think you will see it since its old but it here it is: this tutorial is not helping me barely at all... im sorry bro i might be two high but i am getting lost but i really like the way you make the vids but please go into more in depth without skipping stuff even the small stuff, or a amazing series you could do is make beat tutorials for very beginners and show every step with very minimal amounts of cutting the footage, but besides that i really like this video
