3:30 - actually the cogwheel train doesn't run in the winter and the only way to get there is by the gondola in Kriens.

We were there in late October and the train this was the only way we could get up the mountain. Definitely advise to check the website before going!

The train ticket from Alpnachstad to Mt Pilatus and back was 40CHF so about €42. You can check their website as well for different routes and options, as they do vary depending on the time of year you go. www.pilatus.ch/en/booking/prices
