Luciano performed this, his final performance, at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He passed away in 2007. RIP Luciano...the greatest tenor ever.

Oh, I love these reactions. Exposure to an operatic tenor for the 1st time is an amazing experience. There are many new experiences for anyone out there across the musical world.

@@Glow_ree Thank you for responding so quickly. It is rare thing and makes the viewer feel very special. I have a suggestion for you... Stan Walker "Don't Dream It's Over" kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6vKfHppjcprisU I sent this to you via your German BROT show as I wasn't sure what to do. So here it is as well. It's good for a reaction but also to listen to many times over. I love it. Thanks again. 💖

Pavarotti was the greatest tenor of our time imo! Nessun dorma is an aria from the final act of the opera Turandot. Beautiful reaction. 😊

I'm surprised you do not have any Dimash on your channel yet! As a matter of fact, he recently performed with one of the other original Three Tenors, Placido Domingo, on the program Virtuosos. You should really check him out; you won't be disappointed and I think you'll find yourself shocked with each and every performance. I highly recommend starting with "S.O.S." at the Slavic Bazaar. I hope you'll check him out!

It only takes the first few bars of Nessun Dorma - possibly the most well-known opera song ever - to give you goosebumps. The Italian aria is taken from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot, an adaptation of the play of the same name by Count Carlo Gozzi from 1792, which premiered nearly 100 years ago in 1926 at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. It is sung by the character Prince Calaf who is attempting to win the heart of Princess Turandot. The spine-tingling piece builds and builds to an incredibly emotional climax that has been known to reduce people to tears.
