Pavarotti: Billions of listeners throughout his life. Hundreds of millions of dollars left after death. Goes by one name: "Pavarotti." (Hell, the opera singers in cartoons are modeled after him.) KZbin singers: Well, they have to eat, too.

This and other short clips, I've culled from Pav's Julliard Master Class and can be found in other poster's posts. All tolled, there are far more than 50,000 views, but I get your point.

Yes man! Non si capisce! Not logical!!! I have learned the best lessons by listening to this and maybe four other videos by Pav 500 times each. Much more that with any teacher being a tenor myself. Bravo the great master Pavarotti!!!

The voice starts in the throat. Great point he ven repeated it. That’s the italian school. Bravo.

Sound begins in the larynx, but the resonance creates the voice and original timbre of each singer
@aaroncaruso
@aaroncaruso 7 ай бұрын
@@andrzejzborowski4920 right and there is also resonance in the throat. it’s a great point because we often forget it and start trying to learn/ teach singing based on solely resonance. I had a teacher use the analogy once of upon hearing a fuzzy record, trying to fix it by adjusting the speakers (resonance) instead of cleaning dust off the needle (throat). I’ve found it to be true. Cheers to you.

@andrzejzborowski4920 7 ай бұрын
@@aaroncaruso well that's right. Many bad teachers start to teach only resonance without opening the throat, proper diaphragm support, clear vowels and consonants. They start from the end and then we have to listen weak voices with huge vibrato, short vocal range and mostly out of tune.

His accent is not bad, so what are you asking? Can you understand the actual words? Or, are you confused about the technical part of his lesson? (Seriously asking.) At the most basic, he is teaching what he knows about breathing and air control in relation to the human body and singing. He is talking about how the human body creates what we know as singing.

As far as I can tell he is trying to explain that one must sing with a lowered lanrynx and that you have to achieve this technique with some exercises. That is my best guess as to what he meant. Maybe I am wrong.

What he’s saying is to lower the voice box as you sing higher for a fuller sound to sum it all up. proper breathing does lowers the voice box
