I have listened to you since prob about 2014. It's really great to hear you talking about Christ. I got sober in 2015 when I became pregnant with my first son...and iv stayed sober since... I grew up in church but never really knew Christ until I got sober and had my son, I still stayed far from god throughout these years but I started my walk in faith with God here in the past few months, iv lost two babies in the past year and with all of everything that I have been through in my life he is still showing up for me. I totally agree with you for the most part... However, sometimes you might be to weak to give up certain things & that is why some people call on God to help them overcome those things. In my opinion, if a person is struggling with drugs, alcohol, anger, etc,etc, etc And wants to change , and if they seek God whole heartedly then God may do more then meet them half way there. I think it is in between that individual & God. One more thing, Just because a person does not go to church does not mean that that person is not anointed & Just because a person goes to church every Sunday does not mean that they are annointed. I was getting really hooked on weed, I’m 32 years old and just started to smoke back on 2020 I got to a point where I needed it every day to help me get by. 2 months ago I felt really sick, I said Damme I got covid again but this time it felt different, this time i felt like I was going to die, I was having trouble breathing, I was shaking really bad, I was seconds away from calling the ambulance. I started to pray and asked God if he could take away whatever I have and make me feel better I’ll quit smoking, I fell asleep praying. Man tell me why soon as I woke up the next morning I felt good, I felt like I slept good, like a new man. I threw all my weed away and haven’t smoke again. I know and feel that was a sign for my to change not just for me but for my wife and kids
