I met Lucia Rijker she's one of the most humble nicest human beings I've ever met honestly . She had came to the boxing gym brought her fighter Diana Prazak she was helping the kids out who were new teaching them tricks even though she didn't have to i was lucky to have conversations with her and interactions she didn't treat me like a random person or just some random she actually treated me genuinely like a real person unlike most fighters ,, she's a very down to earth genuinely nice person. Ive met lots of people in boxing almost everyone she's a unique and kind lady who has alot of wisdom and depth.

Lucia is so right and I would add that Ronda was not just knocked out , she was knocked out with a strike to the neck which is basically a strike right to the brain stem . It's turns off the brain for a second. The majority of the time this triggers a very severe response, It's like going to hell . Many fighters don't recover from it . Look at her face afterwards . She's not just dazed, she's terrified . Even the mighty Cro Cop who took a similar blow wasn't steady again for several fights.

She didn't state what I highlighted, but rather said that she was reliant on her striking to win against holly; which is incorrect. Ronda's grappling is very reliant on the clinching and holly defended her takedowns repeatedly, which forced Ronda to stand with her. That's not the same as "bully her into submission with the hands". The second fight wasn't the result of trauma as Emily Dickinson here illustrated. She neglected grappling completely and choose to strike with a monster, effectively sealing her own fate. Hence why they brought this lady into Ronda's camp to begin with. The irony is she's the one with the bias, because they brought her in to help Ronda's horrendous striking after she got humbled. And what plethora of biases could I be operating under and as you so wonderfully pointed out. She doesn't understand what's going on because doesn't have a complete skillset in order to be able to accurately and comprehensively judge what's going on in the fight. Grappling and MMA grappling are veeeeery different. The same as boxing and MMA boxing because there are so many variables to consider that it requires you to modify your approach in utilizing a specific skillset. So no, my point still stands.

You can't compare Lucia, a great fighter to someone made up by media. Delusional Rousy. She was never any good. Overhyped. Women's Mma was in its infancy, so there were no woman that can really do much. Now, rousy would get destroyed by 90% of the women. Rousy had an awful personality and was delusional. It was a great pleasure when she got disabled in one fight, and the next fight killed off.
