Thanks for your comment. Their audio performance is actually very similar when programmed for a mild-to-moderate hearing loss. You can compare all of their scores and listen to sound files on hearadvisor.com. From a user perspective, Lexie B2 has a very straightforward and easy to use app while Lucid Engage's app feels more antiquated but with more personalization options. - Steve

I'm going to Costco next week for hearing aides. They have the Phillips 9040, Jabra pro 20 and Rexton. Which would you recommend for overall performance in general? My big problem like most people is hearing in noisy environments and after reading Consumer Reports on hearing aides they say that none of the hearing aides tested were very good in noisy environments. Would love your feedback on this. Thanks.

Thanks for your comment. We have unfortunately not been able to obtain Costco devices for testing yet. What did you end up going with and how have they worked for you? Improving speech in noise is a difficult technical challenge, but good hearing aids programmed properly can definitely help. Have you tried remote microphones? These pair with your hearing aids and are a great solution to improve speech clarity in challenging environments. - Steve

Thanks for your comment, our testing focuses on a mild-to-moderate hearing loss. Prescription hearing aids are the only devices suitable for hearing losses beyond this severity. -Steve
