EXCELLENT EXPLANATION FOR BEGINNERS! Just one thing....The first 4 minutes is for one audience; the last 1.5 is for a completely different audience. I can't imagine why someone who needs the last 1.5 would sit through the first 4. OTOH I'm recommending this video to folks in my org who aren't developers. It really is a super explanation, best I've found on the web.

Thank you for this video! I am 100% foreign to databases but this video has helped me grasp a basic understanding of the concept. Still, I don't have the patience to do three cross-referencing spreadsheets manually and translate them into ERD with all that code. Is there like a WYSIWYG app that could just automate all these? Like, get people to fill in their own data on an online form, and data from that online form gets automatically sorted into a user friendly database app where all the entries can get automatically categorised according to tags or whatever. If so, what kinds of apps should I look into and how much do they cost-any free or affordable ones? If such apps do not yet exist, what kind of skills should I look for in a database manager and how do I brief them to construct a database that fits my specific needs?
