To be honest, in the originals Lucien Castle was the best villain the Mikaelson’s faced by far. It showed their backstory and how Lucien’s plot against the family was still vindictive for what Klaus did to him. Aurora and Tristan were also great but felt more like a liability to Lucien’s plan.

i kinda loved lucien. he became the villain when he decided to break klaus by killing cami and even finn so i hated him for that but actually, klaus took the girl he wanted (aurora) and he has a past really hard. the mikaelsons took a part of his life and when klaus told him he was nothing just before he died, i found it really sad and heartbreaking ...

Lucien was the best villain in the originals. His backstory was interesting and he just wanted revenge from what the mikaelsons did to him. Seeing him die was very sad because they couldve done so much more with him. (Also hes hot)
