O yes: another Emma "special": over a million views within 3 day's.... This tiny singer from the Netherlands has some vocal cords..and breath control WOW!! She can stand proud next to other top singers like Lucy Thomas and Angelina Jordan. I wonder how Emma will sound when she is 20.... And the casual way she is talking to the audience to explain her new song (which is an orginal!). I mean: talking in public is a challenge for most people, but doing it in front of a 12000 audience takes that to another level.

Lucie, thank you for being so open and honest with your feelings, Emma's clearly got deep into you, as she does with so many of us. I could suggest so many different pieces Emma's performed, but there's a few that are special, because they have such deep meaning for her, and they are both directly related to her health situation. The first is a cover of Miley Cyrus, 'The climb', she recorded this for tube feeding week, a subject so close to her heart, given that she is attached to tubes for 22 hours a day, and has been since she was 9 months old, I can't begin to comprehend the pain she's endured from that situation, both mentally and physically, we're aware that she has to have new tubes fitted to her on a regular basis, and she refuses anaesthetic, as she won't risk the gas affecting her voice, so she endures severe pain for about 30 minutes while the procedure is carried out, and she's spoken of the problems with bullying, and similar, she had to use a small trolley to drag her feeding pumps around with her, she couldn't carry them, she was too small, and because her growth was held back, she was taunted with all manner of evil by people who just didn't understand what she was living with. I can't begin to understand how Emma has managed to hold on to such a wonderful open personality, she radiates love and happiness whenever I see her, and the depth of emotion she is able to portray in all she does is beyond powerful, she can get into the hardest heart, and melt it, and then at the same time thrill it and lift it with the power of what she portrays, and I've not heard a singer like her in a very long time. I'm 72, and I would risk saying that her particular combination of skill, talent and ability is unique, and beautiful, not just in appearance but in every aspect of her life. Her parents have done an amazing job in bringing her up through the most appalling challenge that I can imagine, Emma was on the feed pumps for 22 hours a day, every day from the age of 9 MONTHS, how she coped is indescribable, and at the same time, her parents have helped her to have a dream, and then go on to fulfill it, along with their other two children, who are also incredibly talented, and with Andre's help, that's absolutely happened for Enzo and Emma, her dream came true that first night on the Vrijthof, she soared like the butterfly of her dream over that stage, and dominated the stage, the orchestra and the 12500 people that were there to witness the performance of her life, it's hard to realise that the video of Voila that's gone so far beyond viral (35 million views on KZbin alone) that video was her first ever live performance of the new version of Voila. Someone commented to me in recent days that to perform like she did that night, and on subsequent big occasions, she has to have ice in her veins, and I have to admit, my reply was that to do what she does, she has an impossible combination, she has ice and fire in her veins, they can't in theory mix, but in Emmas case, they very much do, and it's that paradox that gives her the incredible ability to go beyond being a singer, beyond even being a performer, and I don't have a word to describe what the next level above performer is, but whatever name that level has, Emma produces that level of skill in ways that are in so many aspects unmatched, and yes, it's the result of her having an incredible starting point, but then taking that start and working hard to refine and develop her skill, it's an example of how driven and determined she has been to achieve her dream, I've only seen one reaction in literally hundreds that was critical of her, and it was very apparent that the problem was the reviewer, not Emma's ability, and his following is significantly small as a result. In other comments, I've said more, but effectively, Emma is very special, and Andre RIeu has very much recognised that, which is why she's touring with him for all of this year, at least, they are doing over 70 concerts around the world, and so far, Emma is absolutely revelling in it, every picture we're seeing on social media, she's radiant, and so happy, which is down to the simple fact that she's getting to live her dream, the two hours a day she can be free of the tubes and pumps are the two hours when she can absolutely and freely express herself in songs that are so powerful, and that's giving her so much of a boost, that impossible dream is happening for her, and I have to admit, I am very much looking forward to the concert in May in Dublin that we've got tickets for, hearing and seeing her live is going to be a very special experience that we will cherish for a long time to come. It would be so good to hear that they have made some breakthrough that will enable Emma to be free to do what she is so good at, it would mean that her other dream could also become reality, with all she's been through in her short life, that would be so encouraging for everyone.

Yes , I have joined "Gastrostars" as a donor since last January: a very good cause and is a joy to support. Not long ago I have seen an interview with André Rieu. He wants to help Emma as much as he possibly can and he loves every second with Emma on stage. "She really is unbelievable. I am flabbergasted. On stage she is a beast. I have never seen such a "Stage animal" her age on stage before" he said. And he was 100% serious. This man has over 50 years of experience on stage. And to be honest: no matter which video from Emma you watch, she is always fully relaxed and in control.

If you could somehow look at a new track and concert of Emma kok and a lady named Darby at fabulous concert most like on boats in th waters of Amsterdam with beautyfull lights , inthe presence of the Dutch King and his wife enyoying the concert greatly , is really heartbreaking. It is entitled ...When you believe , its more than marvelous Emma having a natural dignity of excellence without ever becoming proud or arrogant, So lovely and pure.
