Yes she is the demon that possessed a dead body. Maze is the one who already has been flied from Hell by Lucifer and already had her own body. Plus she was created to protect Lucifer, and Chloe is a close person to him so she is under Maze's protection too. Same with Eve and Charlie. And they all became Maze's friends and family during the time she spent on Earth

Charlie and Trixie are two of the luckiest kids in the whole damn universe! Both will be protected, watched over and loved by the most hilariously dysfunctional, badassed family to ever walk Earth, Heaven and Hell: Mazikeen the crazy as hell but loyal to the end demon, Eve the fun loving party girl with a heart of gold, two of GOD's strongest angelic children: the warrior Archangel Amenadiel and the devil himself Lucifer. And of course the humans who accept and love them just the way they are: Chloe, Dan and Ella: 3 L.A.P.D. cops who are ride-or-die and can definitely roll with the punches when it comes to weird; and Linda the therapist who keep them all grounded and tries her very best to keep them sane (even though she probably feels like she's off her rockers most of the time). And...the BIG MAN UPSTAIRS....GOD. I guess I could add the rest of Luci and Amenadiel's siblings too!
