This was a great episode, but what I took away from it was Lucifer's realization about Daniel in the end. That he was able to predict it so well, because he knew that no matter what, Dan would always at least try and do the right thing.

This episode shows how much Lucifer cares for Dan. If not it wouldn't matter to him that Dan shot him. Like he cared about the betrayel of Chloe but not at all about Father Kinley.

They had 1 f-bomb to use for the season, and they used it perfectly. I love this episode, if only to realize that Lucifer knows Dan so well, and actually enjoyed messing with him while getting his revenge for Dan shooting him. Just shows how, even though neither of them would admit it, they're actually friends.

Yeah, those whiteboards back in episode 5x8 were funny and seeing Lucifer was so ecstatic before he got Chloe's voicemail.I was curious as to what he had hatched for his diabolical plan but it got lost in the Season 's narrative with God's appearance....but it was worth the wait 😁

Even though it's more of a filler this has to be one of my favourite episodes in the entire series. The first time I watched this through, I had completely forgotten about the payback Lucifer owed Dan, and was probably just as surprised as poor Dan by the end of it!
