I just want to make it absolutely clear that I did record footage of me playing the piano parts but the aspect ratio made it hard to incorporate. I can play lol

I appreciate anyone who has the balls to cover a song like this. If I might offer some unsolicited advice on your vocals, you look like you have a decent understanding of the fundamentals, but you're holding your body back from accomplishing what your mind wants your body to do. The best thing I've ever learned about singing is that you already know everything you need to sing safely and powerfully. It's just that most of it's behind your speaking voice. You sound like you've divorced your singing voice and your speaking voice. Your speaking voice is your singing voice. Try to merry the two back together. Combine your speaking and singing voices, and I promise you'll get better exponentially faster.

Thank you so much! It was a nightmare to figure out what the harmonies were and I am sure they're.. Mostly wrong? But I'm happy to share what I got if you want to try it yourself. All criticism is useful and solicited at all times, it's the only way to get better! I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean though. The bits I struggled with were 1) trying to not do an impression of Tony but kinda doing it anyway and 2)basically the entire song is out of my range. So... Challenges. It is probably obvious but I'm a guitarist first and a singer second (pianist third - i did record those parts live but I didn't like how the video looked so I scrapped it so I could just get something out instead of living in development hell forever). My usual vocal work in real life is stage pantomime work where you can get away with keeping your natural accent, if that's sort of what you mean. If you have a few minutes I'd appreciate if you could point to a 'worst offender' and 'least egregious' section. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
