This show was phenomenal, and the series finale did it justice, I think. And Chloe and Lucifer did get their happy ending eventually. And so did Dan and Charlotte (and Dan's pudding!). But I think my favorite part of the episode was Linda's face when Charlie got his wings. This show was so good from start to finish. The actors, writers, and directors did a phenomenal job.

showrunners said in interviews that this scene was not only Chloe and Lucifer saying goodbye, but also Tom and Lauren, so all the emotions and tears in this episode were real, and it makes it even more painful.

Lucifer is the savior of the broken the beaten and the damned. This song fits so great to his story. In my imagination Lucifer visited Chloe from time to time. He only stayed out of Rory´s life so that she would become the same Rory, with the same personality, they already met and love. Or he watched over her from afar. I liked the end, but not the drama to that end. Showrunners said Lucifer always found a way to see each other in secret (and I trust them, because he always found loopholes). They also said they will try to come back somehow, as movies, a spin-off... But everyone, especially Ildy Modrovich (co-showrunner and writer) is working on it. I hoped watch a reunion with his family or his daughter at least, so I hope they get a spin-off to see all. Lauren and Tom said the tears in the piano scene were real, because that was one of their last scenes (I thought it was their last one, but I think the last one was in the office). I think Trixie knew the truth the whole time. I hgpe Amenadiel and Gabriel helped to exchange letters and pictures, or even to Deckerstar can saw each other (or Chloe visiting Hell). I hope they get a spin-off to we see their wedding and all happened in those 40 years. Also what happened in the first timeline for Rory doesn't see her father. And other flashbacks and flashforwards. How many new antics celestial parents will make with their nephilim (I don't think Charlie and Rory will be the only ones).

Interesting that multiple times during the series, celestials were vulnerable to tranquilizers -- Maze in Season 3 ( -Cain's- henchmen), Lucifer himself in Seasons 2 (mental hospital) and 5 _("Whisper Killer"),_ etc.

Maze has every human vulnerability. The only celestial abilities she has is that she has celestial strength and her demon face. Lucifer said that the tranquillizer worked on him in the mental hospital because Chloe was nearby and it was the same case for the Whisper Killer.

@@ChaplainDaveSparks Lucifer being invulnerable to the bullet was after he reconsidered his vulnerability after Pete's talk about partner's making each other stronger and putting his guard back up after Chloe says that she was finally getting past the walls that he had erected around himself. You should really go back and rewatch the episode lol

From what the show runners have said at this point Linda, Ella, Eve, and Carol probably would have also died and maybe Maze as well so really it would only be Trixie, Rory, and Charlie. I get why they didn't have adult Trixie there too because it would feel disconnected in a way but I like to believe she was there just not in the room.

Chloe's promotion to lieutenant wasn't out of the ordinary. She was a detective sergeant and so her promotion was simply one step up. (Look at her at Dan's funeral, when she is uniform. She's wearing sergeant stripes.)

With Le Mec as his patient - Lucifer definitely tries to "heal" most of souls if not every one. Though this killer has barely moved so far, and it should be around 40 years on human scale and at least half a million hell scale.

So much packed into the *final minutes* of the entire series: One final season 1 callback -- _"thought you could use a partner"_ vs _"thought you could use a friend"._ An *implied* callback to the season 1 finale, where Lucifer says _"Take me back to hell!"_ to Amenadiel. Now Chloe dies and _Amena-God_ asks her if she's ready to go home. I'm guessing that she first went to heaven to pay her respects, then asked Amenadiel to take *her* to hell! I've gotta wonder what Lucifer's friends and colleagues thought of him after his disappearance. The same as Rory originally did? If Chloe had to keep the truth from Rory to preserve her _"time loop",_ did everyone else need to be kept in the dark, too? I didn't recognize any of the angels at Amenadiel's coronation. Maze and Eve's kiss being interrupted by a *phone call* -- classic _Lucifer!_

Amenadiel kind of bring her to the earth and he took her after her death. It's a nice touch 🥺 And we didn't see all the angels. I belive the ones we saw were archangels _"Archangels assemble!"_

I've seen how some think the storyline took us away from what was expected, but that's the point, right? This ending got us deep into Sci-Fi and I believe deservingly so. Many questions were answered and some were left intentionally or not for the future. Joe Henderson jokes about the girl on the couch being Trixie, but I think it is our bully from the season one pilot episode. I would have thought seeing Lucifer's eyes would have been deterrent enough to dissuade her evil ways. The scene with all the shipping containers had me searching for Evergreen CBAN 3489. Dexter's mother was horribly executed before Dexter and brother Brian's eyes forever changing two little boys. I thought Michael was going to be a significant part of season 6, but I suppose Fan-Fic will tend to this situation. What a ride we have had! It's easy to see why Father did not divulge his plan. How could it have ever worked if they knew? This series will forever be my favorite.

Those are Russian nesting containers! Luci's wings were stored in a container w/ nesting dolls. Those nesting dolls (ignored by most) were metaphors for this entire series. From beginning, I wondered if we'd end in that container or in a doll. Nesting containers were PERFECT.

It's not a matter of going to heaven or hell for her, she's basically on par with Angels in terms of being able to go to the "employees only" areas of both ... i'm sure if she wanted to swing by heaven and see Trixie once she dies, Rory or Luci can just taxi her.
