Disabled or not, and from whatever disability it might be, we have the right to be out and about, have a life, and yes, also share our experiences. And if you don't need a service dog, good for you! See, the problem is exactly that, the outside world can trigger awful (worse than usual) migraines, and at least I would be so much better off knowing when one is coming so I can take meds before they start or get away from noisy/bright environments, try to reduce stimuli, while still being able to, you know, have a life. If your friend didn't need a service dog, good for them! Really! I, for one, have been told by doctors that I shouldn't be able to stand the level of pain of (insert injury I'm there for) while it's for me the same as a constant migraine. I sprained my ankle twice in a row and it felt uncomfy. Did it hurt? Nah man, not more than my lowest migraine. Was it bad? Yes, doctors said so. And I still live my life, go to school, put on a smile. But do I want to carve out my eyes and smash my head with a hammer? Absolutely. Also, it's giving "I have a black friend I'm not racist". Might wanna check your ableism

Does he alert as the migraines happen or does he alert before they happen? Also how does he know? That’s crazy how perceptive dogs can be! Assuming “migraine attack” is just a standard migraine right or are the symptoms somehow different?

There was time when migraine didn't even allow me to live my life until I got cured by Vipassana meditation. That's once in a lifetime experience. Ppl who have migraine must try vipassana atleast once

First of all, it's her dog, not yours. Stop being entitled prick. Second, there is nothing wrong with the name. Lucifer is a Latin translation of Hebrwew הֵילֵל, hêlēl which refers to Venus. It is used either to mean "Light-bearer" or as a reference to myths and stories of Venus (like we today make references to different books or movies). Those myths often tell stories of people rising too high and being cast down due to pride or other vices. In the Bible it only appears twice. Once in reference to Jesus (2 Peter 1:19) in the Latin Vulgate and once in mockery to the king of Babylon (Isaiah 14:4-22). The first was translated to English as "day star", but the second one remained in Latin, maybe because the people of that time understood the reference or it was a mistake. Lucifer being the name of the Devil was popularized by Paradise Lost and later works of fiction and is not actually Biblically accurate. So maybe educate yourself before going around harassing people.

Service dogs don't beg for food. If they r more worried about the food than they r their owners then they r not paying attention to their jobs that they r supposed to be trained for. And no one wants to hear a dog whining/barking for food. That is inappropriate behavior from a service dog in a restaurant. And service dogs can NOT eat food there served at the restaurant. Only fools with untrained pets allow their untrained pet to beg for food.

​​@@Maddycanrun lol, the dog in the video doesn't beg for treats. 🤣 The dog in the video takes a treat when one is offered to it AFTER it has WORKED for the treat, especially during training sessions. HUGE DIFFERENCE. A dog staring at random people or their owner for human food from the table is NOT the same as a service dog paying attention to their handler so it can do its job.
